Can't understand this at all.
I mentioned it in shoutbox, probably due to Mansfield having M.Smith up front at 6ft5 what ever he is, it would be better to stick McGuinness on him whos older, more experienced & bigger than Baptise (although a shitter footballer). If all he as to do his head it and challenge him then fair enough, also puts him in shop window.

Already got the feeling this Donovan loan is gonna be the typical wilder attacking player loan where he just gets them in and never plays them.

There are a string of if these over the years where he just doesn’t fancy them.

There Will be a large loan fee and probably decent wages it’s costing us.

We need someone on the bench to be able to change the game. If we start him we then have nothing to bring on attacking wise with pace and directness.

Or play him on the wrong side.

They're playing Didzy up top.

the last time i saw RND he had 1 of the worst 45 mins ive seen from a professional footballer in person. I think he was subbed for his own good. following on from a pretty terrible display v Cardiff In the FA cup

its sad to see RND level drop so quickly & look so out of his depth. when he was so good in 2022 pre injury. being the major reason for the 2nd 3rd & 4th goal

I’m not sure the answer is to have zero pace or directness from the off then.

Just boggles the mind as loans are a limited resource - we should be using them only for guaranteed starters imo. Not just paying Brentford for the privilege of him sitting on the bench.

It’s absolutely pointless to me.

Although he was our only threat against Bochum. Looks decent in the bits I've seen of him.

It won't happen, but in the absence of real creative options, I would go with Chong on the left, where we have seen in small flahes he can run at and commit players, will give us a bit more speed on transition. OHare has the ability to get close to Serki and play those one twos he likes. I also think Rothwell will want to get into that inside left spot, where OHare will probably be operating...and Bamford will be dropping into. We have had an issue with that area getting over crowded the last couple of seasons and slowing us down. Against a team that will sit in, we need to keep our width and stretch them.

Either 4-4-2 or perhaps it is 4-2-3-1 and he’s got Cannon coming in from the left?

We surely can’t be playing Cannon on the left

He cannot do ANYTHING required of a wide forward - his only attribute is a decent shot . He’s been garbage everytime we’ve tried to shoehorn him into the side there
