That video should be pinned to the top of every 'incoming' and 'outgoing' thread. It breaks things down in such a transparent way. Clearly, it's generalising and some specifics will differ from player to player and transfer to transfer but it's a good reminder, from a football insider, that we're being fed info. The days of a big 'scoop', beyond a PR teams control, are all but over, for a myriad reasons, so everything we hear and read about a transfer is orchestrated, then gets fed into the churn and gets lost / distorted in translation / transition.
