Got to be honest, I am mildly amused by Sheffield Wednesday's arousal at the appearance of this bloke given they've flirted with quite a few other suitors before who have obviously asked to see the books and given them a firm 'Nien Danke'.

It was only going to be a matter of time before some schmuck rocked up and saw style over content. Wednesday are in an appalling state and not in any way to 'be back' as their social media lemmings attest. They will start next season stupidly underpowered and EFL rules say anyway whoever comes in can't shit cash into the club for fear of it all collapsing inwards and it ending in a replay of this season, times two. There's a well-structured business understanding about sunk cost and Sheffield Wednesday are a classic example of that. The lower leagues and non league are peppered with lessons of this and they are set to be just that. The best thing their deluded fans can to is face up to the fact that to survive as a football club after Chanseri, they will have to spend at least a few seasons laying low and rebuilding (a bit like we did) and finding the right combination of players, manager and strategy rather than thinking this berk will open his wallet close season and buy a Permiership lineup.

I still think they are doomed. They deserve Division Two more than anything.

I spent 10 minutes Googling and can't faid those fawning pictures from 2015, of Wednesdayites bowing and scraping, as Chansiri got out of his car.
