you know i was looking at the calendar year table, & you know to say how many points that we've thrown away, through multiple reasons. the fact that we are 12th in league & 9th in calendar year table. is room for optimism. maybe we are being too harsh on ourselves when we lose. for as "bad" as we've been. coventry only taken 7pts more & Middlesborough only a point ahead & they are both going for promotion

Oh, I'm perfectly calm. These are extremely important games to try to learn what we can for next season. Why are we not starting Faxon? Why do we not have anybody on the bench that we can test at this level? Why are we bringing on a player who is on loan for the last fifteen minutes? This is exactly the same problem I had at the end of the last promotion season - we had 2-3 games then with absolutely nothing to play for, and we did zero experimentation. Granted, quite a few of the players I would like to see getting minutes we can't give minutes to, because they are on loan. But, that aside, the starting XI should have been different, the bench should have been different, and as such the changes should have been different.
