Disagree. If he can't take it then he can ask for a transfer. He's a shocking player and should be grateful that he's here at all
Come on be grateful..no players do that and should been behind closed doors to bollk him not in public..wilder blame again on players and not good enough why play him

He's 100% right to blame the players tonight. He's publically criticised better players than McGuiness in the past and it's pushed them on to improve. If he can't take it then he'll be moved back to L1.

I agree with all of this bar the Mee shout. You don't need to make him third choice, he has a lovely partnership with Tanganga that was blossoming before his injury. But we need better depth than this idiot
It’s a fair point and that’s obviously been our best partnership, I just worry about his age and ability to play three games in a week, think we should be in the market for a partner to Tanganga, even if just a loan.

Wilder openly said they need to wait for the swelling to go down to judge how McGuiness is after the stoke game

6days later he’s thrown him in and blamed him for a goal that wasn’t his fault

If I was mcguiness I would be chinning wilder

Properly scapegoated and thrown under the bus by CW

Fucking hell, have you seen McGuinness play? You're willing to have your anti Wilder crusade supported by... Mark McGuiness?!

Not sure it's injury that meant he was jogging along not marking anyone for their first goal. Just poor play.

Very rare now roy a player being grateful for playing at a club....they only want the monthly pay

So far been on time think December is going to be early pay
I don’t see the benefit of being paid a day or so early? Getting paid on the date it’s due to be paid is fine for most people.

Not getting paid on time for months and then being paid a day early for a couple of months doesn’t cancel out the late payments and it probably doesn’t help people with monthly outgoings budget very well.

Just pay on the day it’s due instead of stupid sound bites to try and get back in favour.

Weird club.

I'll just be glad when its all done and dusted. New owners whoever that may be and try not to be a circus again

Great performance again.
Steady defender. More of the same please.
He was OK but by god he is limited as anything. He only looked average as Hull were the only team that have even come close to us this season in frequency of aimless panicked hoofs, which is about the only thing he is good for, outside of an occasional set piece cameo

I think its harsh to say he's limited as anything.
For some reason his hefty fee to Luton has made him a bit of a scapegoat. We won't have paid more than £3m for him as per the accounts. He's a much better partner to Tanganga than Bindon, and is the exact sort of squad player we need. I'd rather McGuinness than Robinson!!

I’ll give Wilder credit today for selecting him as Hull was the game you need a “head it, kick it” centre back due to the amount of crosses they put in.

I don't think it is in the slightest. Any time he had the ball today he never looked to do anything apart from play the simplest ball possible, usually to the excessively deep centre mid of the week (this time it was Rothwell, oddly), never looked to move forward with the ball or make any sort of pass which would allow for a quick break. He is an old school centre back. Nothing more, nothing less. There's a place for that and it's not the Championship
