Good point tonight, considering the 8 changes. Go again on Friday with a fitter squad. 👍🏻
if you can’t win, don’t lose.

We battered them in the xG but it never felt we had total control and we could have lost it at the end.

Under the extreme circumstances of the team selection it’s good to carry on the unbeaten run if not the winning one.

8 points behind QPR and even from when we played them recently it’s pretty clear were a far superior team than them, especially when we aren’t decimated.

Disapointing but it is what it is. Our makeshift side grafted out another point and I'm glad about that and it was great to see young Arblaster back who was always around to receive and move the ball around well.

It never ceases to amaze me, the amount of professional footballers who are incapable of effectively kicking a ball with both feet (Premiership included).

That should have been cleared away on his left boot.
Think he’s left footed isn’t he? Just got his feet in a tangle and flat footed chasing back so couldn’t adjust in time

Looking for positives from last night;

  • unbeaten run continues
  • I thought we reacted a lot better to them having a chances in the first half and then a comedy goal conceded. 2 months ago we panic and lose that game.
  • board got a demonstration than quantity is no substitute for quality.

Not one to remember but will hopefully stop them getting too carried away after handing out some spankings recently.

I think last night was a very accurate reality check. We're not going down, we're not going up. Just two very mediocre sides who will probably finish up mid-table along with usual subjects. Watford, Bristol, QPR et al.

If half the squad have a touch of the brown rain it’s understandable the performance was a bit below par…

I think if you remove 8 players from the vast majority of the teams in this division they would lose.

I’ve been saying for a while to my cousin that we are a tantalising bet for play offs. We have an abhorrent record in them, but we were 40/1 before the Wednesday game. I think we are about 8s now.

If we can avoid silly injuries and the board just let Wilder get on with it in January I think we will get top six.

8 points off top 6 with over half a season to go weve still a decent chance of a play off spot especially if we bring 3/4 good loans in this january its a very average league
