Sack him now

I thought we should have stuck with Wilder in the summer. We needed fine tuning. But if we were going to change then at least get a forward thinking manager. Gary O’Neil? Good shout but Selles?
I wanted him out out after the play offs regardless. Our form from Christmas up to the final were shocking. We sacked him, set Selles on (not too fussed as I thought he were decent) but opted to not set anyone up above him? So basically expected him to work like a manager. But as a head coach? Zero sense. I’ve mentally and physically checked out since Wilders been back as I mentioned. Call me a shit fan if you want. But I can’t be arsed with the rinse and repeats of last season. It were like watching paint dry most games last season. We’re not getting the luck this season which is why we’re losing. He’s lost the thing that made him such a good manager. Bollocks.

I don't think there's any point in sacking him and he's not the main reason we're in this mess but the whole "there's nobody better" talk is wild. He's had one good season in the last 5. You could argue that even that was a par season (3rd place with the 3rd best budget)

I'm not sure any other Championship club would go for him. Maybe a Blackburn or Oxford? He's here because it's the best job he can get and we as a fanbase are chasing nostalgia for what he did 6 years ago.

There are loads of managers who have achieved more in recent years. Wilder isn't a bad manager by any stretch but now he's just a lower end Championship manager at best. If he left us today, he'd most likely be looking at a L1 club for his next job.

He did a good job last season and I would have kept him in the summer. His recent record suggests his best days are well behind though and there's no evidence to suggest he will get us out of this.

With this squad we are struggling

I don't think wilder was the right choice to bring back puts the club in a rut , o if all goes wrong we go back to wilder. Not saying I wanted him to leave in the summer but the re appointment of wilder doesn't give a good image of us moving forward in my eyes. As for the squad I don't think it's the best we have had over the last few years but come on second from bottom with this squad really? Ben Mee, Tanganga, O'Hare,Campbell, burrows, cooper, hamer, tom davies possibly even brooks (on his day) they would all walk into most teams in the championship. That's a good majority of the starting team that could easily walk into another championship squad so surely tactics and training has to come into it some where.

He's a spent force now

The board dropped a bollock getting Selles as a replacement.

I can see no other viable option than Wilder in the short term. Let him wheel and deal in January but nothing expensive, he can't spend big money to save his life.

If he looks like keeping us up, then great, we get rid in the summer. If by the end of February we are still in trouble, then get rid and give it another roll of the dice.

Whatever happens, he isn't manager next season. He's a busted flush, and the lack of goals and set up is his fault. It was the same last season.

I thought we did ok tonight. Rubber wrists killed our chances, but I thought we were going down 5-1 before kick off, and we could have had a draw possibly.

QPR and the snorters are games we MUST get results in. 4 points minimum.
