Looking at Clough's comments on new contracts it sems clear that Hill will be heading for the exit, actually I feel a bit sorry for him, when asked to play Centre Back I have never seen him let us down, ok I am not always that confident when he is playing at full back but we have had far worse players in that position in recent times.

Maybe it is coincidence (I certainly hope so seeing as my all time Blade hero is Brian Deane) but it does seem strange that at Burton, Derby and now here Nigel hasn't found a black player good enough to make his first choice eleven.

The colour of Matt's skin is irrelevant when it comes to a new contract. If we want to improve then we need players better than him in the squad. That said, I like Hill, he gives his very best every time he plays and if he does leave I'm sure he'll have no problem finding a new club.

Agree with you in a way, yes he's never really let us down at CB but let's be honest he's dog shit an I for one will be glad to see the back of him. Any player who cannot pass the ball shouldn't be playing the game! The last bit of your post doesn't even warrent a reply...

For too long United have been an easy retirement home for ailing and sometimes failing players. There were a number of players he bought for Derby including Theo Robinson and Nathan Tyson off the top of my head He also brought through Mason Bennett through the ranks. Are you accusing Nigel of being racist?

It looks doubtful he will get a new deal as Tel took his position at centre half last night and Freeman has been covering left back. I understand Matt wanted to go back to Bristol next season and hopefully he will find a team who will play him at centre half. He is a fucking shocking left back but decent centre half.

Unfair on Matty, yes not the greatest player ever to pull on a red and white shirt but always gives his all, looks like he cares and one of the first to acknowledge the fans at the end of a game. I can understand your reasons for wanting Matt to move on at the end of the season but to use a comment like "glad to see the back of him", well the lad doesn't deserve that, leave those comments for the likes of King.
