Selles indicated a few things in the presser, most notably an unsolicited mention of 5 at the back and that Bindon/Ogbene/Chong wouldn't start.

Bindon not back until late today
Chong has never trained with the squad
Ogbene "won't play"

I'm hoping for something like:

Subs: Davies, McCallum, Mee, Soumare, Barry, O'Hare, Chong, Cannon, One

Weird to have so many players to actually chose from!

In that scenario, we have players like Bindon, Ogbene, Davies, Brooks, Z not even making the squad.

Ogbene is ineligible as he is an Ipswich player.
 
McKenna is under intense pressure to get a win, probably more so than Selles. The Ipswich fans are starting to get restless.

Many thanks for info on missing players and encouragement on three at the back

Best team for me

Cooper
Gordon McGuiness ZatterStrom (replacements of missing height - the one cap wonders)
Seriki Peck Soumare/Matos Burrows
Hamer Campbell Brooks

Hamer and Brooks can play deeper to start/under pressure if needed

Get it forard - diagonals from the back like Robinson and Sooty did when overriding Wilders chuckle brothers tactics or when they had to usually.
You CANNOT implement a HIGH PRESS when you have three players passing in your six yard box from imbecilic goalkicks (you just give opponents the opportunity from any inevitable mistakes)
You ATTACK WIDE not head for two banks of four on the edge of the box - with wingers who can cross from the by line not fullbacks/wing backs.
You TURN DEFENDERS, make them face their own goal and make them uncomfortable not play in front of them

How many do you think want us to screw up - just so we can ditch Selles asap?
 

He's had a full pre-season, 13 new players, 2 weeks solid to work with them.

I'm hoping for a positive result for us tonight, but failing that, a good performance and some structure.

Lot of pressure on Selles tonight, and he needs to deliver
 
A lot at stake tonight particularly for both managers as both teams on an unnacceptable slide.
 
Actually hopeful for tonight, we've got better defenders in situ, we just need a functional midfield that can tackle, fight and hold on to the ball. Either Matos or big Djib have to start. 2-1 win incoming.
 
If there’s not a big change tonight in performance levels he has to go… immediately

He’s had two weeks now to work with the players in the building and hold meetings with those on international duties…

He’s had two weeks to review and identify where it’s gone wrong …

He may as well go out swinging … because apart from the first 45 against Bristol I’ve seen non of his identity in our play
