I feel Chong / Matos are the planned replacements. But if Matos is going to cost 10m, Chong 2.5m then realistically they should be spending 5m to strengthen the wings or RB on top of a PL Winger loan + Mee tomorrow

Basically impossible to replace but they need to try, if they’re expecting current business to cover it they’ve just blown up the last big chance of PL promotion for the next 10 years.

This is the problem we'll need to solve. Losing Hamer leaves Burrows as our biggest creative threat. Even our more positive, forward players (Brooks, O'Hare, Barry, Campbell) aren't chance creators.

We'll basically need to bring in a progressive passing midfielder and a right winger that between them can create at least 4 chances between them per match. Just shuffling the pack will leave is in some serious shit.

If Matos cost 10 million we’re literally insane. That’s what Chelsea were quoting last year when they didn’t want to sell him. This year they do and he’s been in their bomb squad with Gilchrist who they also didn’t want to sell last year. Matos will be a couple of mill.

Hamer was still here when they signed, £10M also helps. I’m not saying we can’t get any good players in, it just helps when the team are doing better than they are and the board aren’t getting rid of every Tom Dick and Harry, especially our better players.

How can you say Soumare is dross - he's only played half a game?? He looked ok to me.

FFS - players don't even get half a game now before they are written off.
