I am a little caught between believing that if a manager has a clear strategy they should try and stick with it and give the team the time to develop and just being very sceptical about this current set up, particularly with Hamer in central midfield. But either way, for this game, against a team we know will seek to boss possession and knowing we do have this capacity on the counter attack, I thought even for a one off he would shore up midfield and let Hamer go back up front. Even if meant starting on the right right, we know Hamer can really fly when breaking on that side. Anyway, I dont know how we manage under the cosh, but we still have plenty of pace up top, catch them early and could be a different game to what we might fear.

We go into this game rock bottom as a must and easy win for Boro as we have an imbecile manager with a demented formation and insane tactics

Honestly, the Souza gap is obvious to see. Peck needs a partner in that midfield to help with dog-work.

One shining light from that Swansea game was Soumare sat in front of the back 4 doing the dirty work. No one else does that or is capable of it. They drift too much.

Just cant fathom out what he's trying to achieve with the same failed midfield. The definition of insanity. Hes stubborn and refuses to see what we all have is that its the wrong formation. Boro will just drive straight through us. It hasnt worked in previous games why would it do now? Baffling. Subs bench looks much better but that will only work if the subs are made at the right time. Last match we only used three and two of them were after 80 minutes.

I class my myself very reasonable, a bit of a clapper.

I expected changes and little experiments today. So I’m really surprised that he’s giving the struggling players another chance playing the same system.

It’s very brave because if we’re poor again then it’s making it more obvious it’s the manager at fault.

Surely he must be studying tapes and working why we’re struggling, making player and tactical changes, Basicslly learning from mistakes.

Even if the results aren’t the best there still needs to be signs of progress otherwise Selles can quickly expect the sack.
