There, I’ve put it out there.

It was a mistake getting above our station and thinking that 92 points somehow deserved a sacking.

If they are capable of swallowing their pride they will admit they made an almighty clanger.

For those wanting a change, well, you’ve seen what change looks like.

Rock bottom and promotion chances fading rapidly by the matchday.

Let’s appoint someone who actually knows how to win football matches. Either Chris or Dyche.

The longer we retain this, the fewer good mangers will fancy it.

He ain't coming back. We might not keep Selles but it won't be Wilder who replaces him.
You’re probably right, but one thing I have noticed is that neither Wilder or the owners have burned any bridges with each other. When they let Chris go they had nothing but good words for him and likewise Chris’s most recent interview he had nothing but respect for COH sports. Never say never.

I think the decision to get rid of Wilder was the wrong one but can see the reasons. They have just brought in someone who has achived nothing at all. If it had been a proven manager or someone who had shown something but that is the issues- whoever appointed him seems to have made a monunmental mistake. He is supposed to be a coach/tactical innovator but so far we have seen none of that.

I’m amazed how much of a mess it has been.

I’d be getting on to Cooper and if it doesn’t work with him, get onto Rohl.

They said they wanted to go in a different direction so full marks for that.

I honestly believe that they may give Chris a call and ask him his advice (the terms upon his departure haven been stated as being professional), given that next week is absolutely vital to this season and likely the COH Investment Group. Stick with their man and he blows this season, is that COH's last chance salon?

Not defending Selles, but £55m spent on Brewster, Mcburnie and Cannon. Similar amount to the entire Sunderland squad that beat us. No thanks.
To play devils advocate he also rebuilt a completely confidence shattered squad into promotion front runners with very little money into a side that 9 times out of 10 would have been promoted. Granted, the football could have been better but every fan would swap those results and performances for what we’ve just witnessed in the last 4 games

I don’t think the timing of getting rid of wilder was right but I also don’t think we should bring him back. Selles had no track record to speak of and having listened to his interviews and seen the four matches it’s evident why he has no proven track record. You could tell from the way Staton interviewed him today what pundits think and there is no doubt that they will be on friendly terms with others at the club who will be telling them how clueless Selles is. He needs to go and go now before we are stranded at the bottom of the division.

Why on earth can’t sections of our fans move on from Chris Wilder?

Where do they see us in ten years? Still under CW with a best of British squad?

Clubs need to evolve to survive, and the amount of times his name is mentioned after poor results just shows that some fans aren’t ready to see us move on.

This board didn’t hire him. The previous board only rehired him as there were no other options.

When managers become bigger than clubs there’s problems for everyone.

Wilder is part of the problem, he blew £10m on Cannon and bottled Wembley

No chance Cooper takes the job so Sean Dyche for me.

The owners chose Cannon. Cannon isn't the problem. Now that the owners are finally bringing in players, they're not the problem. A more experienced, better qualified manager is required.

For the amount of stuff getting us from League 1 ect the amount of slagging off sarcastic comments he gets on here. Was it worth it.

By “some fans aren’t ready to see us move on” I’m assuming you mean moving to the bottom of the table with a team that clearly isn’t playing for a manager who seems totally out of his depth? I want what’s best for my team. Like him or not he would get far more out of this team than Selles will

Agree….i was a Wilder-in man
But the way his departure has split the fanbase shows there’s was a clear problem.
When any manager has so much power it’s dangerous.

True fans should love Sheff Utd first…..the manager and any players should always come second.

Based on what I was told today, that call has already been made tentatively.
