JLT playing at statues again in the box with his arm up. A truely dreadful game and a goal conceded that says a lot about our defensive frailties. The players arent in tune with the system the fans arent and the midfield is a mess. Unless there is a radical change in thinking by the manager we can chalk this one off as another loss. Wall have done exactly what they did last season roughed us up turned us around and nicked a goal. Dreadful.

Want to give a new guy a chance but that line up was clueless.

Then again Wilder or whoever bought Cannon has landed the manager with an impossible problem; binning off a supposedly 10m man.

Now we’re just getting players on the pitch with no apparent strategy.

Let’s be honest, lost the first 4 so far anyway.

That’s as bad as Xisco at the Pigs.

Selles needs to start playing a system which suits the players and talent we have. Otherwise he’ll be out of a job.
In this division, we all know that you have to be well organised before anything else. Thats not a Blade tinted glasses, Wilder loving view, its how all the successful sides do things. Even sides like Milwall have done well by being organised, thats also not disrespectful to Milwall, they're always a solid side and hard to beat, often pulling off results against sides at the top.

Selles has to get us organised, sort us out defensively, before he does anything else. He's bringing the players in now, but he has to work on defensive structure and organisation when we lose the ball.

3 subs at half time. 5 mins of huff and puff and a couple of corners. Millwall to end up winning 3-0

Godfrey and Cannon must be the worst right hand side any team has ever put out.Cannon is straight up hopeless apart from being fouled a couple of times. Godfrey is like if your playstation controller is a bit broken, drifts out of position constantly and when the ball is right in front of him he has to do a little spin turn to control it. Somehow Robinson has been worse than both of them

Dire. Absolutely dire.

Manager setting up the team to fail
Players don't want to play for the shirt or the manager.

Hamer and Robinson more interested in arguing with the referee.

We have no height, so we can't defend set pieces, but at the same time we're just hoofing the ball forward.

Peck doesn't want to be here. Lost the ball and then jogged back for that late chance
Hamer charged the whole length of the pitch and then didn't bother to come back

Campbell doesn't want to know
Cannon is terrible and can't play in the position he's playing in. Neither he no Godfrey no where to stand.

There's no movement off the ball. Peck eternally turns on a curve on his right foot. More often than not, backwards.

There's no energy. No one seems to know what they're doing. At least Barry is having a go but what's the point when you have forwards who stand next to their marker?

Feel sorry for Godfrey tbh. Bet he wonders what he's walked into.

What I don't get is what's happened to the attacking football we had in the friendlies and brizzle , it's like overnight the players have said,"fuck this "
I so wanted selles to work but even I'm having second thoughts !!
TBF the one thing I like about the Americans if it's not working they'll pull the plug .

My worry now is that the players we have hopefully lined up for next week, if they haven’t yet signed, may well have second thoughts and who could blame them.

I thought Godfrey looked quite good tbf, Cannon however may be the worst footballer i've ever seen, and i'm not just talking about professionals

10 shots in one half of football we are playing Millwall crying out for Soumare this get Cannot off

I'd have loved for Selles to have worked out but it's just not going to happen. It's beyond stupid to back him with millions and then sack him in 2 months when we are fucked.

Absolutely shameful. We are miles and miles away. No shape, no plan in transition. Cannon gave the ball away 4 times in the first 45 seconds. Peck looks absolutely despondent as does burrows. Hamer trying to do 3 jobs and Campbell completely isolated. No defensive lines and so easy to attack. No real Chances created and lucky not to be down 3. This guy sadly is out of his depth.

Thst involves not playing Peck at CDM as he sall over the shop and doesn't look interested. Where's Soumare?

Subs not warming up at HT. maybe they’re kidnapping Selles and ditching him somewhere.

Don't know how many times I need to say this...

WE'RE PLAYING ONE IN CENTRE MID

How the fuck he expects to dominate games with just Peck on midfield is baffling?!?!?

We dominated games last season by having Sousa and Peck dominate and control cente of the park.

Agree. Hamer and O'Hare in a midfield three with Peck clearly doesn't work. No player is up alongside Campbell or trying to make runs beyond him centrally . The lack of movement is astonishing and the players are just hoofing the ball away and giving it to the opposition.
Physically we are not competing.
I am all for giving Selles a chance but this is his 4th game and performances are not improving .

it sadly looks like david weir. its all style & no substance at the moment. what happened to the team 2 weeks ago & preseason that looked fantastic in attack. to a team that looks baffled at how to unlock an attack

in 2 weeks we've gone from kevin Keegan to David Weir. the only positive is we aren't bottom currently
