We looked extremely good going forwards first half but to be so exposed defensively is horrific to watch.

You can’t just get rid of two big defensive players with no plan in place to replace them with players who can come straight into the team.

Proven players not some kid who you had in the third division.

It’s negligent and basically chucking away points while we wait in hope (and in vain it seems) for suitable replacements.

For all the great forward play, you need some defensive resilience.

No losing to Sunderland when 1-0 up and shutting up shop for the second half cost him his job.
That was Wilder all season. Championship season was great but he lost to all the bigger teams due to his shite tactics.

Dreadful second half. If you dont have good defenders theres only 1 way and thats down no matter how good your forward play is. To sell Anel and Souza and not replace them with quality when we were already short at CB is negligent. Im afraid its going to be a long hard season. The younger players struggled today without experienced heads around them. A few more perfomances like this and heads will drop. Selles needs to get onto the owners at the end of the game and demand quality reinforcements. Unfortunately thats unlikely to happen

Worst things today:

1) seriki/brooks doesn’t look comfortable and seriki seemingly briefed to stay in half and not overlap.
2) the fudging annoying AI red square on coverage.
3) no plan b and very very flat after goals. Wanted to see at least a consolation to prove attacking prowess. Very limited fight.
4) RND was once a player… its over now league 2 at best.
5) constant slinging in of high balls and long throws to dwarf attack.
6) sydie pecks scoring curse.

Apart from that, great!

Mccallum shouldn't be getting a game, he is a terrible defender, hes so sloppy. I'm really numb, my confidence wasn't high with this defence but I never thought it would be this bad, I'm in shock.
Obviously conceding 4 is bound to knock the stuffing out of you, but there has been absolutely no fight at all in us this half
