Just seen this on their website. Assuming they are back before the friendly posted above. No mention of our friendly just the one on the 9th Aug.

"Furthermore, the First Team will head to the Algarve for a training camp from Friday 25th July until Saturday 2nd August."

What day and time is the Fulham game?

Not sure whether its been confirmed from another source but that one above quotes jackellyffc who quotes himself as a Freelance Journo covering Fulham and all his important news is behind a Patreon pay wall but looking at the titles no mention of this friendly and I was on Fulham forum when above was posted and no mention of us at all I can find either. So could do with finding this mentioned by someone else too as who knows.

Its mentioned here but then could be just quoting that twitter feed. https://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/foo...players-sent-total-commitment-warning-5251408

whats odd is Fulham are due back from Portugal tomorrow so straight off the plane into a friendly ?

The Al Nassr game in Salzburg was cancelled. They were supposed to play Al Ahli instead but, went home early when Salzburg was flooded after torrential rain. United are supposedly in London playing Fulham. Our squad was spotted boarding the 1400 train yesterday by a very reliable source. Fulham were still training in Portugal yesterday. All very secretive. Maybe Ruben doesn't want to reveal his hand in the final friendly. Not a word to be found anywhere as yet.

The U21s are currently playing at Boston United. Losing 2-0 after 47 minutes. We should have sent the first team there! Updates on Boston twitter.

Still a blank week the week before the season.
How about a home game against the team we should be in the Prem
Sunderland.
They would bring loads of fans (give them the whole of the Bramall Lane end)
make the atmosphere and a game.
And unless they sign a whole new defence be a good indication of the better teams we should be competing with near the top.
It will also expose the manifest weaknesses we had at York
Formation and Players.
Seems churlish to criticize a generally entertaining game but too little has changed from the imbecile Wilder.
We appear have another pepshit coco the clown clone
Who is less boring and mindlessly tedious than the imbecile although it's difficult to be otherwise.
That being said I guess that they have a full pre season fixture list as they are surely less disorganized than us.
How on earth can you rush Vini out the door for peanuts with no replacement lined up?
Asset strippers or insanity as seemed prevalent in football? (new rule changes re VAR and pens FFS)
First thought after Wendy cancelled against Burnley was can we play instead.
They are still a Champ team from what I've seen so a good test of our chances this year.
That being said with three first choice CB's injured no Vini, replacement Davies Arblaster out no chance to refine the team for Saturday yet,
why bother?
With more asset stripping and not ONE player signed with Champ experience let alone bedded in can we even put a team out with any expectation the best players will be here this season?
If we get results from the off it can only because #managersAreMorons. and are just too thick to exploit glaring weaknesses.
As that clown at Nice - 4th in the top division they were as comical as us at the back, desperate to give us chances
That corner at the end.
Jesus Christ.
How are they (managers) getting away with this shite?
#ClownWorld

Just been to Boston. Couple of great saves from Faxon but looked like a decent mens team v boys, maybe to be expected. Zach Giggs looked okay but surprised to see him in middle of defence.

Fulham were narrowly beaten by Sheffield United in a 120-minute long training match at Motspur Park.

Emile Smith Rowe opened the scoring after quarter of an hour, curling into the top corner after Ryan Sessegnon’s backheeled assist.

Our Championship opponents equalised when they were awarded a penalty for a foul in the box, with Tom Cannon converting to make it level at the break.

The Whites regained the lead in the second-half through Raúl Jiménez, who glanced home an outswinging Andreas Pereira corner.

Jorge Cuenca and Alex Iwobi both hit the woodwork as we looked for a third, but instead the Blades equalised once more from the penalty spot, this time Louis Barry dispatching the spot-kick.

Our opponents completed their comeback during 30 minutes of pre-arranged extra-time, with Callum O’Hare smashing home from inside the box.

Martial Godo rattled the woodwork once more with the final kick of the game, but Fulham couldn’t prevent their winning pre-season run coming to an end
