Don't know but apparently he's playing in the next game.anyone know why Sydie isn’t included tonight?
I've noticed that. He also has a spring in his step. I think he's gonna like being the playmaker in the middle of the park.Only watched the goals but Hamer looking a lot fitter.
I said to the guy sitting next to me, every time I see him, he looks bigger.Thanks.
Has Ryan Oné got even bigger over the summer? He's a big lad at just turned 19.
Davies and Shackleton injured in training and out for 4 to 6 weeks. And so it starts again with these two, will they ever be fit.If someone offered money, I think I would take it.
He is clearly real class, but does just feel like he won't stay fit.
It does sound like he's injured though...

To be fair to him that does sound like Ahmedhodzic.I take it you’re ignoring the part where he stepped into midfield, misjudged the flight of the ball, got turned, dragged his man down, and in a league game would probably have got a yellow card??
I was there tonight and don't want to disagree with people's comments on players performance if was a good run out.
But let's be fair it was York City
But did we take 3,000? That’s the real issue.
I reckon we line up with Peck deeper and O’Hare and Hamer as 8s. When fit, Davies becomes a quality sub to give Gus a breather and Arblaster rotates with Peck and O’Hare to manage games. We just perhaps need one more reliable midfielder. I’m not depending on Shackleton at all. Suppose it’s also a question of whether Marsh and Caceres can grab a spot. If we got a player like Choudhury who could play RB, CB and DM that would be ideal. One, Marsh, Campbell, Hamer the pick for me.
Think we’ll need a Souza replacement in centre midfield as the high press will expose that area.
Great to see everyone bought into Ruby Selles football which is encouraging.
Instinct tells me we need the Board to pony up and bring in 2-3 real quality players, one at DMC and two wingers.
UTB
He also got easily ran off for a chance right on the edge of the boxI take it you’re ignoring the part where he stepped into midfield, misjudged the flight of the ball, got turned, dragged his man down, and in a league game would probably have got a yellow card??
What a pair of glass backs - FFSDavies and Shackleton injured in training and out for 4 to 6 weeks. And so it starts again with these two, will they ever be fit.
How , in any in any universe can we in any way rely on Davies ????????I reckon we line up with Peck deeper and O’Hare and Hamer as 8s. Could be Brooks and Barry out wide and Oné as an option cutting in. Then again depends if Ukaki can make an impact. Not sure I really see Cannon as a left side option. Probably he’ll rotate with Moore and Campbell.
For those that watched - How did Jefferson do?
I deposited 10 made a ten pound bet and cash it for 76 pounds so far second half I need one more goal and one more corner![]()
Only one turnstile open,I never got in at all !But did we take 3,000? That’s the real issue.
I agree that you can’t read into it too much. But, I would say that we played them last pre-season and it was pony.I was there tonight and don't want to disagree with people's comments on players performance if was a good run out.

Pretty worrying is that. Danny Hall says same and Phil the beer watched him all last season and delivers a “meh” verdict. The first product of our AI generated recruitment process not filling me with confidence. The other one, Numbchuck, just seems to have vanished. Anyone know what’s wrong with him?Pretty anonymous, didn't drop any clangers but didn't really add anything. Looked like he may have been played out of position

No but to balance it out the new lad looked a little livelier and got an assist. Looked to get in behind and seems more developed.Pretty worrying is that. It might not surprise you but it would kill any chance of success.I was really pleased for RND tonight looked like he was getting back to his previous levels. I’m not hanging my hat on him but to say he has 2 years left on his contract and we might actually get some use out of him as a squad player was pleasently surprising. Wouldn’t surprise me if Anel, Robbo , Bindon and RND are our CB’s this season.
“feeling positive”… spot on pal.Went and enjoyed last night, I thought all our senior player looked good, with One and Marsh making a step up from last year, both looked stronger.
On the new players disappointed, none stood out, got involved. Hard to make a judgement on Bindon as was at the far side of the pitch and I was low down in the stand. In the 2nd half the right hand side of the pitch was invisible until Curtis came on at RB and lead to the only good move down the right ending in the last goal.
Stand out players were their two keepers. Some amazing saves, especially the double one in the first half.
Overall feeling positive, looks like one up front for the season, nice to see us trying to find the best role for Cannon, even if it did not work last night.
Main worry is not knowing what our midfield will be. Davies injuries, Peck please don't go, you will bench warmer somewhere else, continue your development here, Blaster how long before fit?
We must not get over excited as Yorks are a small side 4 divisions below, though did look good on the ball.
Looking forward to the first match proper.
Felt like that after the Brizzle City match and they are much higher up the footballing tree. Didn’t end well that one“feeling positive”… spot on pal.
After Wembley,it’s good to feel that way after this match
