Young Woo Seol

In other words, if Seol Young-woo is active from July to August, it means that the club that is struggling to recruit him or not can be assured. The last shot that Zvezda senior Hwang In-beom was able to transfer to Feyenort was also his performance in the UCL preliminary playoffs.

Seol Young-woo is a player that big league clubs have already observed. Before going to Zvezda last year, West Ham United in England promoted the recruitment.

One of the teams interested this summer is known to be Sefield United in the English Championship (Part 2). Sheffield is more attractive in terms of the possibility of promotion to the Premier League (PL) than the championship clubs that Korean players have recently moved to. It is a team that has been promoted to PL twice in the last 6 years, and when it fell to the championship, it went up again after 2 years. In the last 2024-2025 season, the promotion was canceled to the third place in the championship. Whether Sheffield actively rushes to recruit Seol Young-woo and whether the Big League club, which is still under observation, will try to recruit him in earnest, will be affected by the results until August.

Here's a better translation;

If Seol performs well between July and August with his clubs Uefa Champions League qualifiers, he could convince clubs that are currently hesitant to make a move.

Fellow countryman Hwang In-beom also sealed his Feyenoord move thanks to his strong showings in the UCL playoff.

Seol is already on the radar of top league clubs. Before joining Zvezda last year, Premier League side West Ham United was reportedly interested in him.

One club showing interest this summer is Sheffield United in England’s Championship (second division). Compared to other Korean players’ currently with Championship clubs, Sheffield United has a more attractive promotion record. They’ve been promoted to the Premier League twice in the past six years and bounced back within two years after each relegation. Last season (2024–25), they narrowly missed promotion, finishing 3rd. Whether Sheffield United goes all-in for Seol or a big-league club steps up depends on his performances from now until August.

Either way, it appears the source is genuine

Probably the most positive post about Sheffield United that I've ever seen on this forum...

Fans who don’t want to see fast attacking players like this signed must be the same ones gutted about wilder leaving as they enjoyed watching the team play sideways and backwards most of the time
One person said no thanks that’s it, it’s a thread absolutely full of positivity for this player and possible signing and somehow you have managed to shoehorn a dig about Wilder into it and ‘fans’ not wanting him.

And people say the wilder fans are the boring ones who can’t get over it… give it a rest

Must be something with words starting with a W as it's just like Woke somehow getting thrown into every topic

I have learnt not to watch video highlight packages until it's done. I can't say I know how good the level of opposition he plays against is. I saw 17 year old Chris Hussey look like a young Gareth Bale....mind you that was in the ryman league division one south and west

I've said for a while there's some hidden gems in the balkans leagues, Italian clubs recruit from there quite regularly.
I'd love to see how many " big money " players epl clubs have recruited from Italy that started in the balkans.

How's everything single move by the club still get people somehow changing it to a moan about Wilder? 😂
Terrible English, but the point still stands.
Move on. He's a player Wilder had probably never heard of. Stop trying to divide the fan base by slagging off a (successful) manager that's no longer here, and trying to embarrass the ones that supported him.

I don’t disagree, there are tedious individuals in both camps. Decreasing in number, though. Maybe if fewer people got triggered by it and responded it would stop.

Its not been triggered.
Its the boredom of reading on a random Korean players thread and how people that supported Wilder won't want him.
Its strange.
I was a staunch Wilder fan, but that affects nothing going forward for me. It's a new chapter, I just wish the haters would start it as well.

If you’ve been bothered enough to respond you’ve been triggered. As I said, it’s from both camps. Maybe you’re just seeing the comments that trigger you. Either way, I agree that it will be nice when it stops.

It always amazes me that "Crvena zvezda" translates as "Red Star" 🤣

If someone said they were going to watch Crvena Zvezda Belgrade, you'd think you'd never heard of them
Sounds like the Russian too.

Krew (Krev) in Russian is blood, and zvezda is star, so kind of makes sense 😉

I bumped into another Blade at Kendal today briefly. The entire conversation basically went "don't see many Blades up this way... wish we had kept Wilder though"
