Not much defending in that highlight reel but fuck it I’m all in. Some of those crosses were absolute filth.

Yeah his defensive numbers are pretty low - but that could just be because Red Star are so dominant in their league. Might even be seen as an option for the wings.

I’ll go to set it up, Belgrade is a great city, was there last summer.
Aye
Albeit a bit ‘tasty’ around the “Eternal derby” (<24 hours afore & after)
Folk talk about Glasgow, Athens (/Piraeus) Milan Rome, even Istanbul (I’ve not been to Buenos Aires) but from my experience none compare to the intensity (& undercurrent of absolute hostility) of ‘Red Star’ agin ‘Partizan’

Looking that video he certainly fits into the style of play that Selles described. Quick forward use of the ball opening up teams.

From this he looks equally at home at left back or right back. So some good versatility.

Given our lack of wingers maybe it would allow us to play Seriki further forward? I’m wondering if that might be a tactic because we currently can’t field a side with Ruben’s preferred players.

Foreign full back, right sided, 26. Last time we did that it didn't work out too badly! I'm talking about Vas Borbokis, much as I loved Baldock but he was from Bucks!

Anyone fortunate enough to see that first match of the season v Sunderland will remember how he destroyed Sunderland that day and stole the show on Deanos second debut.

Few weeks earlier in the pre season we played Blackburn and Deano scored after just ten seconds, definitely my favourite ever friendly memory! It was all going so well until McDonald/Green started selling everyone.

The Korean Borbokis you say? Well I'm certainly on board for that

In other words, if Seol Young-woo is active from July to August, it means that the club that is struggling to recruit him or not can be assured. The last shot that Zvezda senior Hwang In-beom was able to transfer to Feyenort was also his performance in the UCL preliminary playoffs.

Seol Young-woo is a player that big league clubs have already observed. Before going to Zvezda last year, West Ham United in England promoted the recruitment.

One of the teams interested this summer is known to be Sefield United in the English Championship (Part 2). Sheffield is more attractive in terms of the possibility of promotion to the Premier League (PL) than the championship clubs that Korean players have recently moved to. It is a team that has been promoted to PL twice in the last 6 years, and when it fell to the championship, it went up again after 2 years. In the last 2024-2025 season, the promotion was canceled to the third place in the championship. Whether Sheffield actively rushes to recruit Seol Young-woo and whether the Big League club, which is still under observation, will try to recruit him in earnest, will be affected by the results until August.

I think I understood it more when it was in Korean..
