Wilder out

The league has been a fucking farce quality wise, we’ve still managed to not go up. We’ve barely rolled teams over, we’ve just tried to edge our way past and that’s completely blown up in the last 2 months.

Wilder is at fault for today.

Wilder is at fault for missing out on top 2.

Wilder is at fault for making Robinson captain.

If we have any ambition, he will be gone. We won’t however and I imagine the new owners will see their arse and not sack him due to the wilder cult.

None of that equals busted flush.

As I say, busted flushes don't get over 90 points. That usually gets you the autos.

I think there's a convo to be had about next season, but I still think overall we gave this season a good go.

It’s not been the first time that he’s let a lead slip by trying to defend it! Albert Einstein once said Insanity is doing the same old things again and again and expect a different result.

Big fan of Wilder and think he's done really well this season. Will always see him as a legend.

But, I think there's a question mark about how we've turned up this year under pressure. And that should really be his strength.

Might be the right time to take a new direction.

Like I said in the shoutbox I think our 2019 team still beats this seasons team by some margin. That team could last 90 minutes plus but most of this team can just about manage 60 minutes of football once a week.

Anyone who wouldn't gift Sunderland the ball.

Yes. Bad management. We started trying to defend a 1.0 lead in the second half when it was obvious we needed a second. Time wasting etc instead of going for it like we did in the first half. We gave Sunderland belief and confidence. Wilder negative tactics again. Trying to over manage it.

We've needed a 2nd goal all season. I think Wilder is a wonderful man and Blade, but he is never going to get us playing the way we need to do to be even half good enough for the Prem.

There’s nothing been shown this season or last he’s learned from the mistakes before. The style has been horrendous and has always been liable to implode.

It imploded and he decided to be stubborn and go at the fans which then resulted in more losses.

He’s won 1 game of 7 against the 3 sides around us this season.

He’s not cut out for it, he should be relieved of his duties tonight so we can get started.

Whether it's time for him to go?, not sure I am ambivalent. A miracle he got us to 90 points, but we have never looked PL ready with a couple of exceptions.
But what is true is the strange to bizarre decisions he has made over the season, which have in the main been detrimental to the cause.

We need a CB, he gets injured so we play the guy who was replaced.
We buy a striker we did not need, when we have R One who could offer more.
We loan 2 full backs, don't use them and play a midfielder there.
We play any 2 of, BBD, R saki, Brooks, O Hare and Brewster In different games.
It takes 40 odd games to realise we look better with 2 strikers.
We try to hold onto what we have rather than killing teams off. But, he did get us to 90 points!

Personally I think he has rode his luck, but he might do it again.

Ce la vie

Hanging off his sides in the Banner Cross, and in the Double Tree, made us all look stupid. Thanks for another wank evening. Cunt
Well?? Why aren't you all defending him? Happy to post embarrassing pics and selfie. Made us a laughing stock

It’s a big call for the new owners.

Much as Wilder is a Blade through and through, it isn’t enough to get SUFC where we all want to be.

Not sure who we would get in but I do think Chris has taken us as far as he can, and that’s not ignoring his great achievements with us over the recent years.

Wilder made not one proactive change
He did nothing to change tactics at half time

Can we fuck off a poor manager, and get someone who actually knows entertaining football who can set up a team to capitalise a squad to take advantage?

Before “we” go on an anti Wilder post you have to think we have 4-6 weeks before the first pre-season match and who are we replacing him with ? For me he got 92 points in the Championship, he stays
“A manager who doesn’t lose against two bottom three teams and a win against a in and about play off team” - sorted it for ya!

Well - I think he may well walk away anyway now. He’ll find this tough to take. Plus new Owners will not be patient….they have already invested a lot of money. US businessmen will demand a strong season & promotion next year. So Wilder may be replaced anyway…..his January transfer window looks pretty bad now in hindsight - spending their money.
