What do we think the crowd will be ? 28500 ish which all things considered is a good effort, I would add, has the Bash game affected numbers a great effort from the fans again but an additional cost for a lot ?

Not quite that but 27 k with 27k in attendance .

24-25K.

We haven't even opened the whole BL Upper yet, just one section (BU3).

The only sections of the ground fully sold out are both central gangways on South and the singing section at the back of the Kop. Every single league game on the day of the game would only have availability down the right side of kop and in BU1 & BU3.
The fact you can still purchase in any section of the ground shows how little will be there.

Bristol City won't be bringing their full allocation anymore, i would guess

It'd be interesting to know how many ST haven't bought, and have been taken up by day tickets.
Eg have we sold as many day tickets as on other league matches.

I mentioned somewhere else the other day, other than blut, if you actually click on the blocks and search for tickets there is at most a couple of handfuls of single seats. I booked mine yesterday in SS and I had a choice of 3 seats

Rather unfair of the club to not open BLUT until the more expensive SS and JSS only had single seats remaining.

I’m sure it wasn’t the intention to penny pinch, but for a family of 4 that’s another 8 quid, not a small amount considering the extra cost of the Bash match and a probable Wembley appearance.

-1 as I can’t make it

37 quid is a hard sell for a dead rubber. Yes the club didn't know the outcome of the 1st leg when setting prices, BUT 37 quid is a hard sell for most anyways.

Once again, the club have misread the situation regarding ticket sales.

Also, one way to increase take up would have been to say, if you buy a ticket for the semi final, you're guaranteed a final ticket.

On price: if the Star is to be believed, the club wanted it to be £15 but the other semi-finalist clubs would not agree. I would think it would have got much closer to a sell out at £15.

Maybe 26,000 - but honestly who cares???

My old Dad (god rest his soul) used bang on about how crowds were irrelevant - especially in the days when Dave Bassett’s Wimbledon would rock up everywhere with attendances of 5,000 and beat all the so called ‘big clubs’.

Less than 27,000, for various reasons not least an absolute lack of enthusiasm from the fans in general

If so, and especially if we don't sell out for Wembley that will be a very poor reflection and is something we should try very hard to avoid

I don't think we'd get near a sell out tonight regardless in the circumstances, 3-0 up, £30+. I do think we'd sell out at Wembley without restrictive ticket selling policies
