Wilder fighting with Plymouth players in tunnel

He's like an old drunk. Just walk away man! Keeps prattling on about "25 years I've been doing this..." You'd have thought he'd have learnt to turn the other cheek by now. Tells his own fans not to be gobbing off and then this...
Sunday league stuff. If you can't keep your cool in these situations in his position, then it's not too surprising the team isn't performing at present.

Wasn’t there so can only point out what people have said on here but the other story is that the two players were “giving it the big un” to the Blades fans. No mention of Clark. Is there any footage of him being near the two before Wilder approached them? TV did show Peck reacting to something prior to the tunnel incident.
I haven't seen the TV footage so don't know what it showed but I didn't think the Plymouth players did anything wrong in front of the United fans. As I've said before - the Plymouth No15 was being restrained by another Plymouth player as they approached CW . A lot of United fans had already left by the time the shenanigans started

And if you saw a group of Plymouth fans outside the stadium singing would you have steamed into them ?
Or would you have had more common sense
I would have followed them to their car and then attempted to tie their windscreen wipers in a knot. Just saying like...

To be honest his antics after both games against Wednesday made me cringe. His disrespect of Rohl, pissed up, lack of humility and a bad loser shown again yesterday. It’s like he’s managing the local pub side. He looks like a tramps mate lately. How can the players respect that? Has he ever said “I got it wrong”. Never, ever. I think he’s turning into the pub bore/loudmouth as times goes on. It really is embarrassing.

After he came back following sneaking out the backdoor taking his millions and deserting his club, he was man enough to concede that maybe he wasn't faultless. Once and never again.

"When someone loses their temper, they reveal their vulnerability.
As a leader, I cannot afford to display such weakness."

Oh ffs

Something needs to happen today, preferably a picture of the corner flag and a club statement saying Wilder has been relieved of his duties......at the very least Wilder, as the main representative of our club needs to apologise for his disgraceful behaviour. Blokes lost the plot big time.

Nothing will happen this week. The next thing to happen will be his presser for the Cardiff match. His demeanour and words will be interesting.

As a manager of people myself I have to say this all comes down to one word: Accountability.

You can criticise your players if they’re ignoring your tactics or having a low day, but in private, then the accountability is on them to improve.

You can also admit to getting tactics and subs wrong, whilst not great, it at least recognises where the accountability for failure lies.

Wilder at the moment is behaving like it’s everyone else’s fault, starting fires elsewhere to divert attention away from his own failings. Whilst we’re winning, that’s where the focus lies. Now we’re losing it’s definitely not his fault.

Sorry Chris, but these last three games you have got it wrong, through stubbornness, players out of position or inept tactical choices against 2 of the poorest teams in the league. Going to Plymouth and pre-match saying “They’re bottom for a reason” basically telegraphed what the result will be, on the back of two poor performances and losses. Is it so hard to say “They’re struggling but have fight so it will be a tough game”? No, it isn’t.

Now we’re left in the mess of lack of accountability, everyone blaming each other and the highs of post-Coventry lost to the sands of time. He needs to look in the mirror, lead from the front, and get this team fighting so we can go into the play offs with some form and confidence, as currently across the board, we’re low and resigned to missing out on promotion.

Whilst the season isn’t over, it’s now a harder job to reinspire and reunite the team, fan base and club overall for the final push.

Ancient,
The most perfect reply on here by a country mile. My numerous previous posts on here were to a tee of yours. Wilder singing songs with a degree of offence to another professional manager who he was praising prior to the game, is nothing short of vulgar and obscene. He acts like a common street man doing things like this. What does his wife say about his antics like this, because I'm sure that the majority of you on here, me included, would be torn to shreds !
I agree Chris is bringing our great club into disrepute, hes done wonders for the club but he his now making us one of the most hated clubs in the country.

He needs to be disciplined by the club. What an embarrassment.
Disciplined, he needs to go this is gross misconduct and a total embarrassment, not only for him but the whole club and the fans.
