Wouldn’t you be asking - what went wrong today Chris and why?

Off the back of one of our best performances of the season - 8 days rest - players back and healthy squad - brought in 7 players in Jan including a £10m stellar signing - playing against a side who have won 1-11 , one of our promotion rivals only drawing and a chance to reclaim top spot and go 4 points clear of third with only 6 to go ?

I know I would

What would Chris say ?

I’d sack him and appoint someone with far better credentials and far more experience in managing a football team.

I’d be looking to appoint Slim Man
Surely someone like you would be after appointing someone to fill racial quotas. Sol Campbell maybe?

"That's how we play away from home and it's been effective"

I disagree with that view, a game like today, we should have used the fact we have a pretty sizable talent advantage and attacked them from the off. Oxford could only win a low scoring, low quality game and we let them dictate the terms to make it that sort of game.

But I think that'd be the response From Wilder.

The owners gave him 10's of millions and a new contract a couple of months back. They aren't going to be saying anything to him.

Ridiculous excuse, Oxford are a league one team. One of the most embarrassing performances of the season.
They’re in the same division as us aren’t they? Embarrassing post smacking of someone who has spent too long watching the likes of Man City piss the league and therefore thinks we should be smashing anyone in and around the relegation zone any given day. Leagues like the Championship just don’t work that way.

Not a single one of their players gets into our squad btw. Another proper manager would have got us playing a brand of football capable of breaking teams that park the bus down.

Based on the fact all runs come to an end, 6 away wins in a row, there is a reason thats our current record 👍
So , laws of probability ?

The owners are probably adults and don't react emotionally to set backs in life and that's why they are successful
Just asking an honest question Frank . Not having a go at Wilder - re read my opening post

I completely understand what you mean, but we've not done bad for the last 10 games, most points won in the league, most wins etc.

Bit harsh to just single out one particular result, is all I am saying.

2nd in the Division- this has to be the mental post of the season, what did you think when we smashed Coventry to pieces? sorry to offend but it's plain 'thicko'.

I know you know

But all things considered we apparently, I didn’t go but from reports , started so slowly and lethargically and invited this to happen .

This is the business end of the season - CW says we’re in the best shape - yet ?

Yep. Today was a day for OHare, Rak Saki, Hamer running and moving around a league one defence.

We opted for the 'dont change a winning side' which is so old school....
