I've liked that as I've not seen that photo before, but not sure a like is the right response
wow that kop has been up longer then a thought !
I agree!! All’s well that ends well we have quite the ground now. Compare it to the antique monstrosity in south Barnsley.I've liked that as I've not seen that photo before, but not sure a like is the right response
Is The Hammer on the left in those two pictures Frank Lampard Snr?
Yes, Billy Dearden hat trick on midweek afternoon 29th February 1972. My kind headmaster allowed me the afternnon off school, my dad couldnt make it to the match so his workmate took me to watch the match. Is The Hammer on the left in those two pictures Frank Lampard Snr?

2021...?No terracing on the Kop? Any idea what date this is?
Nearly thirteen years on, Simmo's penalty has returned to Earth and flattened the John Street stand??
Just after the war? Only reason I can think of for their being actual trees growing out of the terracing?
35,000 Camouflaged Snipers were there though.Just after the war? Only reason I can think of for their being actual trees growing out of the terracing?
Jamie's Hungarian cousin?
Strange / ironic that the best looking parts of the ground are the oldest 2 stands. Granted they've had modernisation and a lick of paint, but the opposite view of the stands is no where near as good. I still think and thought at the time that the JS was built way too far back, and could have been much bigger. and the Kop, well.Norwich yesterdayView attachment 202276

I can only see one car, must be a Saturday
Despite being a Terraceite, but having resided on the Kop on numerous occasions over the years, that photo stirs something deep inside, for mortals, who are of the Blades persuasion. The Ledge, oh my God, the memories, the happiest of happy days
