You need to create chances and players need to get in and around the box for goals to be scored. Everything runs through Hamer and as good as that is, others need to step up and help out, which is obviously evident now as he’s picked up too many silly bookings

That was absoloutely Honking son ......

Seriously though sports fans 10 bags on a no9 when we have BBD/CAMBELL/MOORE/BREWSTER isnt the wisest of ideas from our new film star owners

A smart man (me) would have spent 5 mill on the best left footed centre back in europe who was attaianble

what do i know i just hold every coachng badge Fifa and Uefa allow you to attain

UTB will be reyt when the Gustavo De bruyne is back
Cannon was cannon fodder for Hull tonight never stood a chance with that showing.
Not blaming him just frustrating watching us tonight. I
Came in turned my phone on Wilder was there! I thought it was his after match comments but no ! It was his pre-match build up.First minute was taken up with moaning about 3 matches in 6 days and then I realised it was pr-match.
Did Wilder sense we were not up for it as we sure played like it.Not at the races a common phrase used by coaches when the team doesn't perform! Well beaten by a team who apart from playing some good stuff seemed to want it more.
I thought Brewster played really well tonight which makes him being on the bench quite baffling scored a good goal at Swansea! Can only assume he couldn't be risked for 90 minutes same applies to Campbell I suppose.
Hull are in a false position no way will they be relegated.
Yes we need a dominant centreback ! Missing Soutter badly!!.

You shouldn't spend 10m in the championship on an attacking player who can't influence games

Trust us, after all these years fighting over every penny, taking weeks and weeks to complete fairly modest deals, to finally splurge on someone and end up with one of them

and will continue to do so.

Promotion guaranteed now, 105 points

Do me a small favour. Until you’ve supported this club for 60 years and therefore know exactly how they can and will screw up every season with rare exceptions, just shut the fuck up. Please? Just shut the fuck up!

It's a mad amount of money to spend at this level and has shadows of Brewster. The maddening thing is that I don't think he's good enough for the EPL and we could have got someone who isn't good enough for the EPL but can do a good job in this league for much less.

Amusingly, Stoke have replaced him with Al-Hamadi who was a handful for Ipswich last season.

First game in a Utd shirt in a side minus our main player maker in a poor performance .. tell you what just write him off 😂😂.. fk me we have some reyt bellends with the daggers 🗡️ out … just fuck off back to your Firestick ⚔️

Where I presume you have your UEFA Pro Licence on display on the mantelpiece?
Mantelpiece.
That'll be the 'Cornish' in Hollinsend.
The players sat on it last night, lets hope they don't get too comfortable up there, otherwise NO promotion this season.

Wilder fkd up but let's not blame Cannon. He's probably had 2 hours of training with the team.

I'm sure wilder now wishes he'd have started Campbell and Brewster and cameod BBD & Cannon.

We have 7 full days of training for him to work with the team. BBD also has 7 days to get some fitness in his legs.

I'm thinking a 4-3-3 formation for Derby with Campbell, Brrewster and Cannon in the front 3. None of this Burrows in midfield nonsense and BBD on after an hour 😎

I struggle as to why our ‘transfer team’ don’t engage with Royston before spanking another huge sum on a very average player. Shadows of Brewster indeed….and would anybody really trust CW with their dosh!
It would also appear the new owners know absolutely nothing about football….

Given the Choudhury news, we won't have to use Burrows in midfield anymore.

Cannon is what we need in this squad (we missed that lethal finisher in Campbell when he was injured) but starting him after a day of training (he was having his medical on wednesday while the squad were in Swansea) was a bit bizarre.

Leicester and Everton also think he's not good enough for the Premier league

Wilder threw him under the bus last night, crazy decision to start him .
Campbell should have started with Cannon getting 20/30 mins to end the game

Campbell wasn't fit to start, Wilder said so after the game. It's only crazy if you intentionally ignore facts.

Chris fucked up should have started Campbell and Brewster both hitting form at the mo , you don’t drop players who are playing well or are improving !

I'm not sure what everyone was expecting to be honest. He's only scored in 6 different league games this season (which drops to 4 if you exclude penalties).

I thought he might run his nuts off on his debut at home after a big transfer but he contributed nothing.

I'd love to see him succeed but I was probably more excited about the Shackleton signing and that's saying something! I'm predicting no more than 4 goals from him this season.

Always looked a poor, overpriced signing when we should have been far more focussed on midfield and centre half after acquiring BBD.
Not quick, not particularly skilful, not particularly strong and not a patch on Moore or McBurnie, who we should have retained but water under the bridge yadayada.
Hopefully he'll prove people wrong but looks to have all the makings of another Brewster, who ironically looked a far better player last night.

The lad's been at the club less than 48 hours.

True and I'm still annoyed at the team put out last night which is colouring things.
But also thought before we signed him it wasn't a good signing given he's already been deemed not good enough for a poor PL team and he has only a moderate scoring record at this level.
For a club with not a huge amount of money to spend it looked a poor signing and also clearly led the focus away from areas we needed strengthening as 100 per cent illustrated last night.
Hope to be proved wrong but can't see it.
