It's interesting that Everton and now Leicester have both decided he's not good enough. Worth a punt at 5 or 6 million, but at 13 mill Sunderland can have him.
Agree, the vast majority of Stoke fans says he is good, probably mid to upper Championship level.
They say he is worth £5 or £6 million, where paying £13 million is an act of madness and desperation.
However a few have said it’s difficult to judge any striker at Stoke because their team don’t create many chances
And in some games this season Cannon has received heavy criticism for looking slow and lazy, doing very little.
His main ability seems to be…..create chances and he’s pretty good at finding the net.
The problem is…..we might actually be desperate for a striker ha ha . I suppose it depends what other options we have, going to our 2nd or 3rd choice striker option might be better if it frees up more money to spend more on our other targets. This transfer window is constantly evolving.
If we get BBD then maybe we don’t need to bring in Cannon for the goals. We can let Sunderland have him.
And as we’re already in talks with Southampton we might try to do a double deal to bring in Charles with Diaz, both on loan with a fee option agreed for both.
Wilder might be thinking….play BBD on the left, Hamer in the middle and Charles with Vini Souza as defensive midfielders.
