They didn’t break fantastically well.
Most of Sunderland’s breaks in the second half were woeful. Sunderland have been below par tonight, and our two really poor moments of defending (alongside the poor penalty) have really cost us.

Agree with that assessment.

What’s so annoying about tonight, we’ve completely shot ourselves in the foot.

We’ve played much worse than that and won on numerous occasions this season. But if you make stupid errors it’s gonna cost you.

All three goals are errors from the other team … botched clearance , dwelling on the ball , poor positioning and and own goal.

We missed a pen.

None of the above can be legislated for.

First half I thought we were poor and handed the initiative to Sunderland.

Second half I thought we were loads better without really looking threatening until the last 10/15 minutes.

On another day we take a draw.

Bit I will say this … I haven’t enjoyed a single United performance this season… yes I have enjoyed the results and the smash and grabs and I have enjoyed the spells we have in games … but I can’t pick out one single game that I could say I really enjoyed watching us play.

even when we had the whole team fit I don’t think we played well I think we rely on individuals in the team for moments of magic.

Must have watched a different game to me then which is fine … they had three or four chances on the break that were decent the only botch was the 3 v 2 …

We struggle against the better teams in the league and that’s fine … we will do well to finish in play offs and that’s also fine

I don’t understand how anyone can say injuries have cost us in this game, we’ve completely dominated the ball and not laid a glove on them, it’s the reason we’ve scored 3 in a match only once this season. That’s a style issue, not a player issue. Good in-between both boxes though, plenty to build on I suppose.

I honestly think we were better tonight than WBA.They were beatable but not by us.No real threat and it’s not just van injury issue.Do we really scare anyone outside the top 10?
