He can't get a game at Norwich.
Over 80 games from 2022-2024. Isn't playing much this season, wouldn't be playing much for us but again, unlike Cannon, has a proven record at this level

The thing with Stoke is they're a poor side now, under Pelac (apparently not under Shawcross)
Under Schumacher they were much better and even then he didn't look great

Nothing last season or this season has me convinced he's worth the outlay - I'd rather go with a more proven option like a McBurnie, or a last resort back up of a Barnes, or go and get someone with a bit of something about them and a track record
I understand your thinking but who is available and we can afford for 7/8 million. I don't think we will be able to loan anyone of that ability. Ben Bereton is not the central striker if anyone asks. Great if we can get him to play left cutting in giving Burrows space.

Morris, Adebayo, Forss, that bloke at Preston who got a bit bitey

Squad filler then, Wilder said we want players of quality what go straight into the team.

He get in a poor stokes team. We don't need 35 year olds,
He gets in because they have literally nobody else, not because of his talent. Their only other decent strike option is on loan at Walsall

Why doesn't Barnes get in a poor Norwich side then?
Because they have Crnac and Sainz?

I tell you what - explain to me what Cannon offers that Barnes doesn't other than youth?

Goals...in a poor team👍
Ah yes because Barnes has never done that? Hell, he's even scored in the prem 😂

And Cannon has scored 9 goals this season - yet you seem to be forgetting that 4 of them were in one game, and several of them have been pens. So other than scoring goals against shite teams (which we've been able to do without him), what does he improve/add?

think thats a very exciting pairing for us down the left burrows and brereton and getting hamer in to central midfield we will just have to wait and see if cannon comes in but if he does and we pay leicester 7m for him i think he goes straight in maybe wilder is thinking of going with 2 strikers and tweaking the system

How many has barnes got this season?

Barnes as played 7 times this season for Norwich and not scored a

Does this mean sargeant doesn’t play either?
Injured, that's why Barnes is getting minutes as a substitute with that Crnac as first choice.

Some people saying that he should be back around end of January though, so that might change potential deals.

Nowt in 7 games, while Cannon has 9 - however 4 of them were against Portsmouth, so it's not like he's prolific either 😂

He’s playing or was for a dog shit side. I don’t get your view at all especially as you’re saying barnes would be better. He might have been better 3 years ago but he is a 10 minute camel piece now surely

I don't want Barnes, but my argument is that if we're getting a striker that isn't good enough to start and is coming off the bench, go with a cheaper option.

Cannon is not worth the money and has done nothing to prove that he is

And when sargeant is back, does that mean barnes won’t get any minutes?

If he comes guessing 6m say, he ain’t a bench warmer

Not sure, you seem to be the expert on all things MSP, Norwich and cannon
God the MSP thing will follow me forever 😂

Norwich was a Google, Cannon is because my GFs family are Stoke season ticket holders so I watch them with her on TV - which tbh gives me more then enough exposure to him to be able to offer a well reasoned and informed comment

My feeling is that this is a Jamie Hoyland choice who will know a lot about him from his Everton days. Surely you can see the potential, he is only 21/22.
