Would you honestly be trusting Wilder’s judgement on centre forwards based on his track record?Well we've got the same players as we had when Wilder wanted him in August except for Blaster

Well that's a different question as he's all we've got to trust. He's done alright with Moore and Campbell but there's obviously the elephant in the roomWould you honestly be trusting Wilder’s judgement on centre forwards based on his track record?
With a proper scouting network and hopefully a DoF he should be restricted to identifying the type of player he wants and then having the choices presented to him that are within budget.Well that's a different question as he's all we've got to trust. !
i hope we get him think we will be trying for loan with view to buy but if not offer them 5m with another 2m depending if we either go up or how many goals he gets theres a lot of negativity on here with his non performance at the lane earlier this season but stoke were possibly the worst side weve seen at the lane this seasonI think this one is a goer & he may have been a player on both COH’s list & Wilders in the summer had the takeover happened earlier. Plus I think we may actually be doing a permanent deal here - that sadly now may also include an agreement /?settlement regarding Souttar loan deal which has just had to be cut short. Leicester may want to sell Cannon to get a player off their wage bill you is not going to play for them anytime soon.
I think his movement would serve him better than Moore which will open up other areasHe will need a service that we don’t provide.
Wilder has also been talking about primarily wanting to bring in experience. Cannon doesn’t provide that.I think his movement would serve him better than Moore which will open up other areas
I thought Des was on board he must have something cooking if he's on the payroll.Well that's a different question as he's all we've got to trust. He's done alright with Moore and Campbell but there's obviously the elephant in the room

Tyrese Campbell 6 in 8

As a goalscorer he's mediocre at best. I'd also rather have him than Barnes but I'd prefer somebody good over either of them. But he brings goals.
Experience = Ashley Barnes 0 goals.
I know which one I'd rather have!
Money though. Proven experienced goal scorer is big money. As a goalscorer he's mediocre at best. I'd also rather have him than Barnes but I'd prefer somebody good over either of them.
Nearly all his goals have been tap insCompletely different type of player.

if thats the case its mcburnie or barnes dont want either of emWilder has also been talking about primarily wanting to bring in experience. Cannon doesn’t provide that.
100%Would you honestly be trusting Wilder’s judgement on centre forwards based on his track record?

What's in it for his parent club to change his loan though?i think he will still be on wilders list all about opinions with this lad but personally think hes just the type of striker we need just now get him ben brereton good midfielder and right back and we would still be in with an excellent chance of top 2 might not happen but imo 4 is the minimum we need to come in next month utb ftp![]()
So was Keith Edwards’Nearly all his goals have been tap ins
no not saying that at all i want ben brereton and tom cannon to come in one could be sent out on loan thenYou'd rather keep giving Oné the minutes?
Even Wilder said the kid should be out on loan. We need experienced options.
I watched Leeds bring on Dan James, Joel Piroe, Patrick Bamford and Manor Solomon last night (they scored a winner shortly after).
Have a look at Burnley's options off the bench.
If we're going to keep up with those two then we need more experienced pros. Bringing on Kieffer Moore or Oli McBurnie give you that.
yeah see what your saying but see cannon going straight in to our starting 11 so wouldnt be an issue for leicester we need an end product and that means goals cannon and brereton will give us that at this level without extra firepower we aint finishing top 2 so big decision for the americans it will tell the fans whether they want premier league football at the lane next seasonWhat's in it for his parent club to change his loan though?
Yeah that's trueSo was Keith Edwards’

Yeah - spot on…..a Keith Edward’s type striker now would be on for 20 goals this season easily. If that is Cannon’s strength - we should do everything we can to get him here. He would not have missed that Brewster chance yesterday!Yeah that's true
Anyway, my original point before several people derailed it is we obviously do create chances for strikers in answer to the misery arse who says we don't

So I’d like to see us bring in BBD and Cannon - although Cannon would need a fee as I think Leicester will want a permanent deal.
think we would see the best of moore if we played another striker alongside him its an odd one if we bring cannon in you would think we would play 2 strikers but if brereton comes in his best position is wide left which suggests sticking with 4231 personally would like a front 2 with hamer in behind em mind think brereton could also play in a front 2In his last interview, Wilder referenced his forward options the last time we went up; Sharp, McGoldrick, Hogan and Madine.
He also seemed a little dismissive of Brewster and Oné as proper alternatives to Kieffer Moore and Tyrese Campbell.
It struck me that he'd like to replicate his 2018/19 options.
I agree with you, I'd be shocked if we bring in BBD, Cannon and McBurnie.
Cannon plays off the shoulder of the last man, has a hard and accurate shot and a little bit of pace. (Hogan)
Moore is a target man / focal point. (Madine)
Campbell seems to have reinvented himself as a fox-in-the-box type. (Sharp)
But none of them offer McBurnie's link-up ability outside the box (McGoldrick - ish) and aerial ability in both boxes.
I really rate McBurnie at this level. It's just his availability I find off-putting.
He could very easily miss six weeks and 10 games with an injury or dumb suspension . He has a lot of form for it.
I absolutely agree. We 100% a striker like him. I just don't see the positive for Everton to uproot him just to send him to another Championship side. Just for him to have to settle in allover again. I understand Villa doing it with Barry to send him a division higher in Jan, I just don't fancy our chances with this one.yeah see what your saying but see cannon going straight in to our starting 11 so wouldnt be an issue for leicester we need an end product and that means goals cannon and brereton will give us that at this level without extra firepower we aint finishing top 2 so big decision for the americans it will tell the fans whether they want premier league football at the lane next season
