Without Vini we struggle. We suffer another major injury, Cooper has a mare, we have Peck sent off and they get a couple of lucky goals. We’ve ridden our luck for a few weeks so I expect a massive banana skin moment. And yes, I’m no fun at parties either.

Souza needs a rest, so does Hamer, maybe even Rak Saki
I’d play Brooks,Seriki & Tom Davies
I’d leave Souza out so Chris won’t be tempted to put him on
But keep Hamer & Rak Saki on the bench (just in case)

Cooper
Seriki, Souttar, Robbo, Burrows
Hamer, Peck, Davies, Brooks
Brewster, OHare

Exactly the kind of game that previous Uniteds would lose

We can't make a statement to everyone else today because we're expected to win

But make a fucking statement to your own fans today United

Woe Woe and thrice Woe.
Clem is interviewing Wilder on Football Focus
That being said, I think the only time I saw him interview and the team NOT lose the next game was Hecky?

Not too bothered about Leeds result but really hoping Norwich do us a favour tommorow
If we win and Norwich do we can start to Open up a gap on Burnley and then a draw on boxing day is a great result for us and will mean them having to come and have a go at us which would suit us

For me, and it needs the energy and passion to do it, we need to make this a statement win today..// hopefully we are ready from the off and not take 45 mins to get started ….

Difficult to pick a team based on not knowing injuries and fitness

But this would be better
Cooper
Gilchrist Sooty Robinson Burrows
Hamer Peck Davies Brooks
Someone Jesus

No sensible person would have Jesus on the right, Hamer on the left
Just as you wouldn't have Gilchrist on the left and Burrows on the right.

"Football is a simple game complicated by people who should know better!" and are paid a *ing fortune to * up.

Got a horrendous feeling we’re gonna get a bit of a humbling today. Boggles me that the talk of not expecting it easy today is followed up by starting an 18 year old up top on his own. Can see us struggling to score big time.

We are in a spell of 9 games in 33 days including some of the toughest matches we will play all season. The only player who might play every one of those is Cooper. It is 2024, not 1974, this is squad management, not anyone being "dropped"
Who said anything about anyone being "dropped"?

The rest of the team have outscored our strikers so far this season.

We're not heavily reliant on them.

Oné could be completely anonymous today and we could still win comfortably.

Guess what, the Gaffer's got a decent track record of picking the team so far this season so let's see what happens eh? Good starting line up, strong bench and it's as if he knows who's fit and who's not. Strange to some of you football managers out there who know better of course but let Wilder have a go, it might just work.

UTBFTP 👊👊👊
