It's one thing for our players to draw fouls through play and if a team takes a red for bringing down one of ours on goal, I'll applaud that. I'd never be happy with any united player cheating.

Doesn't have to be a red card offence, or even a yellow, every player can take a nibble at him in turn, a step on the ankle, a knee in the back whilst going up for a high ball.

Every ball that goes up to him should have a defender making a back for him and collapsing him to the floor, every scrap in tight possession should have a boot raked down his shins, do it very slyly even if it means giving fouls away and get the cunt taken off.

Uncomfortable 2nd half coming up. They'll be all over us to try and take advantage of the extra man, so we need to keep it tight at the back and try to catch them on the break where possible.

Shame that we've had one of the best defences all season, and today one centre half makes a big mistake for their goal, and the other loses his cool and gets sent off.

Anel missing for 3 games (no chance that is being overturned on appeal), isn't ideal, especially with Sunderland and WBA coming up, I think he'd be back for Millwall.

We're only a third of the way into the season and as bizarre as it sounds, it's better that this happens now rather than later in the season where we will have more pressure on us to get over the line.

Coventry look weak defensively but useful going forwards and will come at us now. This needs to be a really good team talk as we need to play smart in the second half.

Totally different to most United matches this season.
Normally our games are played a bit like chess matches.
The opposition normally have massive respect us 1st half and are very defensive and we're normally quite defensive too.

However credit to Coventry, they've been very open and come at us from the beginning. Kind of a shit or bust, nothing to fear tactic.

I always predict Blades games to be low scoring affairs because we have a brilliant defence and never look free scoring.

but this one definitely looks like there'll be more goals in it.
On balance of play Coventry have been slightly the better team....so you could say we're lucky to be 2-1 up.
Both our goals have come out of the blue from 2 really good...high quality attacks.

Based on what I've seen this match could finish anything.....I'll go for a 3-3 draw.

Why is it that when strikers get bullied by defenders employing "the dark arts", there's always outrage at us not getting fouls. But when it's reversed, and our defender is getting shot from a forward, it's "you've got to suck it up".

Referee should have had the bollocks to book their lad for diving early on, both times he did it, and the Anel wouldn't have ended up in the position he put himself.

This was after Bassette had grabbed the back of Ahmedhodzic's neck when he was laid on the floor.
