Bassette had two dives before all the excitement, the referee saw them both so when he threw himself down holding his face, he should have seen that. Yellow card at worst for Anel, red card was bad refereeing. Simple as that.

Apart from two great goals we've been shocking this half,pissing about trying to play it out from the back when they've been all over us to force the mistakes after Cooper has passed it out,well we finally paid the price.
They have run right through us all the half with as much time and space to play around us as they like,they could have had four already,their wide players have beaten the full backs time and time again to get crosses in,it's a rerun of Middlesbrough and Leeds,turning over possession and they've gota cavalry charge of players running through us at pace with no tackles coming in.

Doesn't have to be a red card offence, or even a yellow, every player can take a nibble at him in turn, a step on the ankle, a knee in the back whilst going up for a high ball.

Every ball that goes up to him should have a defender making a back for him and collapsing him to the floor, every scrap in tight possession should have a boot raked down his shins, do it very slyly even if it means giving fouls away and get the cunt taken off.

The twat laughing and winking at Souza and then laughing at half time. I can't believe he's going to be allowed to get away with that.
But we all know what happens in reality, he stays on and scores

Bassette shouldn’t even been on pitch for equaliser. How was he not booked for blatant 2nd dive in short space and put his arm into anel on another challenge (that could have been straight red).

I've watched the replay of the incident.

Gamesmanship (some would say cheating) from their player but Anel fell for it.

The Cov player make a hard tackle on Anel resulting in Anel falling down wanting/ expecting a freekick, it did look possibly a foul.
The Cov player then went up to Anel whilst he was still down on the floor and screamed something at him whilst laughing.

Anel got up clearly angry and walked towards the Cov player (who was deliberately smiling at him trying to provoke a reaction) and pushed up....placing his hand on the players throat...but it defiantly wasn't a strangle, just a push.

The Cov player then totally exaggerated....rolling around on the floor whilst incredibly...holding his head when his head hadn't been touched.

My opinion is that it's probably a yellow card but you always run the risk of these yellow card incidents turning to a red
and what really didnt help was that their player Bassette milked it rolling around like he' been shot
and then all the Blades and Cov players sprinted towards Anel...all pushing and shoving each other....making it look much worse than it was.

He didn’t raise his hands to his face. Should have been a yellow.

Then again if he’d been switched on, the ref would have already booked Bassette for his consistent diving.

Anel should have just left it and walked away though.

Needs a ‘United’ style battling second half. That said we have pace on the break and a few like Hamer who can pull something out of nothing so it’s not over yet.

Weird game. We've been poor but showed a few moments of class. Coventry have had so much room and possession around our box. Too much time to put crosses in. If we'd have been playing a Premier League team we'd have conceded 4. Anel and Souttar both struggled with Bassette. If he'd been determined to score and not throw himself around we'd have conceded more. He might be an absolute cunt, but he's made them look shit first half.

Taking off our only senior striker is a strange move as well. Are we just going to try and defend for a half?

• Claimed their goal as his, when the cross went straight in with no contact;
• Played WUM to get an opponent sent off, rather than trying to outplay him with skill.

He did actually score their goal with a clear touch but apart from that you’re right.

Not saying Anel was right but he was fed up. Bassette intentionally landed on Anel's head down on our end and been goading him all half. The hand on the back of his neck was enough to set him off. Mad about the Anel putting the team in this position but not mad about a choke slam red.
