I genuinely don't get the clamour to play a striker who hasn't scored for 20 odd games, generally gets injured or sent off when he plays for a full match

We moved past the 1980s. The game is exponentially more athletic than it was when Liverpool were winning the league using 14 players or something equally silly. Going the same XI every game is asking for injuries in a season as long as the Championship season is.

I can get behind that starting line up. Maybe would have gone Seriki and not Shackleton but as Femi has worked well as an impact sub then fine

Just posted similar above, but Shackleton to start and then Seriki to come on when Swansea may be tiring at least makes sense intuitively, rather than the other way around

I reckon we’re going to look to give them the ball and hit them on counters. Campbell wants to run at defenders & ain’t a centre forward IMO. Probably needs JRS in the side with either him or Brooks to play down the left to be more balanced. Reckon most of our play will end up going down the right.

Can see this being a close game. 1-0 United.

Rotating the right back and Seriki not starting is a shame, not trusted defensively would be my guess and that is his biggest hurdle to starting games. I hope he gets there as the season progresses because he offers us so much threat in possession.

Campbell in CF role. Didn’t Stoke fans claim that’s where he’s best at? Would also love Brooks to start, but I think Wilder will stick with the team that’s stayed unbeaten.

Stoke fans said Campbell no good as CF , needs to be second striker or out wide

I keep thinking he’s got somat. Got a great shot on him. Just feel provided he’s over his injury nightmare, he needs a couple of full games to get proper match fit which atm he’s not getting
