Peck

Thought he was terrific, particularly off the ball. He was directing the other players at set pieces and his 'injury' in the last few minutes was mature beyond his years. Very composed, passionate and certainly one for the near future. If Blaster is out for a while he'll do for me,.

19. First league start. Was that him on his knees at full time going mental like we'd just won the champions league?! 🤣
I saw him on his knees, love to see emotion like that, he gives his all. Very fiery too. Didn’t look like a full debut for his club in front on nearly 30,000 fans, I’ll happily forgive an early mistimed pass.

Hope someone else on the SS saw it. After Harness came on and got the ball blasted at his bollocks, he was marking Peck from the throw in whilst Peck stroked his genitals.

They both laughed, Peck kept doing it as Harness tried to both mark him and protect his genitals. Very funny, until Harness went through him shortly after.

It’s an incredibly difficult decision for the club is this one. If big money comes in for OA that is to say.

Would the club / management believe they would have a ready made replacement in SP already in the building ?

Beginning to think the answer to that might be a great big yes and that OA is a player we could realistically cash in on.

Was good today.

I've just thought of a brilliant idea, instead of "cashing in" why don't we for once try to build a decent team.

One swallow doth not make a summer

He did alright. He does 80% right I'd say. However he really needs to work on his shooting though, his finishing is woeful from what little we've really seen of him.

I think if he can concentrate more on that aspect he could be one hell of a player.

He’s looked capable in several games already this season.

Accepted he needs to do it more frequently though - getting the pitch time to do so might prove problematic !!

Really wished I'd bookmarked it, but there was a thread in the Summer where i said Peck was the future of our midfield and by Christmas he'd be leading our engine room. The ridicule i got from some of the wet wipes on here was hilarious at the time, but absolutely fucking brilliant on days like today!!

Gwon Sydie Lad!

He did really well, impressed me.most things neat and tidy, give and goes, found space. Looked like a regular.

Couldn't have missed today if Moore had squared it to him

He did very well, slow start with miss placed flicks and passes, but he is in midfield and was winning headers! Not sure who he learnt that off at United!

He was the most noticeable midfielder on the pitch, for a 19 year old that is amazing. He will go on have a better career than Vini and Berge.

If Alabaster reminds me of Scoles ,Peck reminds me of Keene.

Souza and Arblaster is still our best midfield pairing, but having this lad as an option from the bench is going to be important this season.

His shooting does need a bit of work but cannot recall him missing the target on any of his chances today.
