Certainly didn’t look like he wants to give up his first team place to JRS, just yet.

I thought he was great when he came on. Had the defender on rollerskates and went past him time and again. Nice little back heel for Pecks chance too.

Even off the bench he could be a real weapon for us this season.

He looked much more effective than JRS, he's definitely keeping his place

He just needs to make a decision and then execute with conviction. Often seems caught in two minds.
He can actually strike a ball, would like to see him letting a few shots off.
*If he could master that finesse, curler into the far corner he'd get a lot of goals at this level.

I feared that he came into a poor side and looked good simply because he was putting effort in running around.
I had no idea he had all this technical ability.

If he works.on his composure and finishing he will be a premier league player with or without us he has all the tools to be a class player.

If he’s starting and performing like that every week we aren’t going up that’s for sure. At our level it has to be better, Hamer showed it’s that quality of delivery, the angle of the cross, timing….all off with Brooks.
He’s beat a man…crossed across ground to the keeper, pulled back to Nobody, hit defenders.
Airborne route was over hit or under hit.

Terrible. It has to be better if we are going up.

JRS- didn’t see much of the ball, when he did he got a shot just over and picked out Brewster to hit the post when should have scored. That’s creating chances…not running at tired defenders and creating fuck all.

Love the lad…

As a long time watcher of him in the academy with arblaster et al. I cannot properly describe how good of a player tgis lad can become he reminds me of a raw bukayo saka and to top it off is a childhood blade just like Arblaster.

Seems to have improved physicaly also and was good to see him play in CAM role when he came on. Skys the limit it really is.

Did great coming on as sub,.I think a lot of us said he just needs to add goals and assists and we've got another great prospect,well he got a great assist tonight and I like his work ethic,and he's got the physical attribute aswell.

I wasn't that impressed last season, albeit a hard season for everyone, but mainiy because he just seemed to run, nutmeg someone then lose the ball and do nothing positive. Time after time he'd run straight into a defender as if he didn't know they were in front of him. As usual there was some overhype from some of our fans and I just didn't get it.

What a difference one summer makes. He looks bigger in size and stature and seems to have matured in his playing. 4 games, 2 assists. Can't knock him for that. It's exciting to see how he progresses from here.

I would prefer to see him start most games this season than JRS. Firstly because he is our player but secondly I think he gives more all round play. He works hard but still offers that creativity.
