I'm sure there are scouts living in France/Spain/Italy who know their leagues & players who could be hired to look for us.
Seems a very narrow minded & expensive recruitment strategy to just look at British players.
Maybe we should look at where the newer premier league clubs recruit in order to stay up? Pretty sure they don't just look at best players in league 1.

Reckon we'll go big in January. Either based on we're in a great position and to enhance the squad for a promotion push or because we're shit and a new manager will be in by November and given a fuck tonne of money in January.

We needed another forward imho but rest of squad I'm happy with. No youngsters going out on loan is a telling sign that we've got to keep it tight or wilder believes in the academy players.

Trusty going meh. Slimane on loan also don't care about.

That's pretty much summed up my thoughts. Very glad we didn't lose anyone important. A bit disappointed not to get a striker in the deadline day sales.
