Moore is not clicking yet , Brewster is a waste of wages & Campbell is nowhere near fit. And the moment Moore is injured that's the end of our attack - surely we need at least one proven striker as competition / cover.
We've missed out on Johnston , so are we still after a LW ?
It seems so strange for Wilder to play wingers but if he sticks with it we need competition / cover.

I reckon one striker (Canon) plus replacing Slimane with a loan (Sarmiento).

I don't think we'll replace Trusty (but would like us to). If anyone else goes we need replacements in with the possible exception of Coulibaly and Grbic.

Loan out of keep the youngsters in the U21s with the exception of Seriki, Brooks, Blaster and Peck. Keep One in the U21s as it would be good to have him available if needed. Also keep Hampson and Faxon in the U21s if we sell Coulibaly or Grbic for the same reason.

If we don't bring in 2-3 + replace the rumoured out goings we will be in trouble. Our squad depth is an issue without anyone leaving. It's going to be a busy day for Wilder and the recruitment team. it's whether that hard work pays off

We rarely bring many in on deadline day and it takes us about 3 weeks to sign anyone else normally, so I’m going to be optimistic and guess 0.

Though you’d like to think we will go all out to make sure we at least take full advantage of the loan system.

If we sell then we may be able to look at buying someone but at the speed we usually work then I done see that likely unless we are able to convert a previously intended loan into a full on purchase..:so maybe Cannon.
Trusty is apparently done….so we may be able to push another purchase over the line.

I think we will bring one in for sure, if nothing else just to get another body in at last minute, I’d expect at least 2 given the state of the squad depth and injuries/recovering fitness players we have.

RND- wow…looked like a bloke who’s just taken up the sport. Weeks away at best and possibly never to return.

So we need legs, we need some consistency and we need some resilience to have players available to do their job. It’s crunch time, and so we have to make sure we get it right today or it’s going to be a long 4 months of football til January and we can crank this side of the forum up again.

Anyone who says it's been negative should remember previous transfer deadline days. The one that stands out was the one under Slab where he wanted wingers but neither happened. One from Barcelona the club couldn't get over the line with united blaming Barcelona I think, the other a failed work permit or similar.

I'm convinced looking back that united would have known all along that neither would come or could come but it just looked like the club were trying for Slav.

Possiblity of losing both Trusty and Anel if Porto show us the money is mind boggling at this stage, especially if we're still chasing Mepham after 13 years of being linked with him. Unless our recruitment team have been given a dose of speed I can't see much from our side.

i think mepham will come in for trusty and wont depend on anel going in honesty we really need 4 to come in unlikely with uniteds previous deadline day antics but with these new owners in the background maybe today will break the trend

Has David Brooks been rumoured with a move anywhere? He’s not featured at all for Bournemouth, are Southampton in for him.

I hope nobody else leaves now after Trusty, and that includes Anel. We need a defender that can break the lines as currently we are solely relying on Blaster to do that job.
If we were to move anyone on for me it would have to be Souza, yes he’s looked better so far this season, but he doesn’t carry the ball at all and that’s what we are missing.

I’d like us to bring in Cannon, there’s no guarantees in football but he looks to have some good potential.
David Brooks would provide good competition for OHare (Marsh isn’t ready) and also plays RW, I’d be happy with either Brooks (ours) or JRS playing on the left.
