I was all for telling you to bollocks until I saw your blah blah blah comment

He's already had time to bring in 11 players - a luxury several of his predecessors weren't allowed.
Damning factor for me is that he's not learning - how many times have we started quite well, then faded and let in a soft goal?

Only time we give him is 15minutes after the game so he can think of all the positive bullshit he spouts.

There wont be many stats for managers that have such a bad start but eventually turn it around as they usually get the boot! Does any statto out there care to share worst start but turned around figures if they do exist? The most famous is Sir Alex but im not sure we have a new one of those on our hands......... or do we?

I was all for giving him time , after pre season and notts county , but that was in football terms a lifetime ago
8 games later and one point to show for it , in league one , unacceptable even if hed been told he had an incurable disease and lost his wife in a hang gliding incident ,all sympathy has left the building

Shit manager or shit players ?

You can blame Weir all you like but we have 15-20 players who have failed miserably in recent weeks.

A football teams like a car , lots of moving parts , Weirs a shit machanic , a good one could get an engine purring with non genuine parts , like russel slades done

Again, is it the manager or is it the players ?

Theres plenty of the players who got us to the play offs twice still here, they all havent become even shitter in 9 games, its the disjointed system, moyes is aiding man utd in a similar fashion , on a lesser scale

So you're saying Weir is making good players play badly ?

I'd say that's the case, yes. Last year's defence was one of the best in the league. This season we haven't kept a clean sheet. Players like Baxter, Cuvelier, Brandy and King should all be very good at this level.

I said previously and stand by the view point that they aren't playing particularly badly individually, but aren't working as a team. This would suggest it is the manager's formation or tactics that aren't working.

We are in a poor division and have a squad that is easily capable of upper mid-table, maybe play-offs. We are the bottom of the league with one win. Any proper manager would better this.

Yep your comments about the quality of players Weir's brought in reflects what I've said previously.
However, not playing badly individually? Errr sorry but they are.
I'm not advocating a return to hoof (whatever that is) but I'd like to see the same degree of committment and motivation that we saw under so called hoof managers. You don't feel as hard done by after a game if a few of the players have run their blood to water and put the shits up one or two of the opponents. It doesn't happen any more - we are so lightweight.

My view give him at least 2 years to get his way of playing instilled into the players. In that time he will have all the players he wants. Then you judge him. How do you know the next manager we bring will do any better. Who is it going to be no so called decent managers are going to touch us at the moment. So do we go back to either washed up managers or unproven ones. To easy to say get rid off someone and we get someone better.

Bassett didn't win a game until December after our promotion season. We finished in a respectable position. Following season we had a horrendous start again finished in a decent position. We keep chopping and changing managers it gets you nowhere. He'll get the sack because the pathetic directors will give into the fans demands to do so and then we'll start all over again with a crap manager having to bring in new players and backroom staff to understand his methods. The Pigs did it for years and it got them nowhere.

There are still people on here who criticise Warnock yet his record was excellent, we were only relegated by 1 goal difference but fans led by the charmless Sean Bean wanted him out. Doesn't look so clever now does it ?

Two years?

We'll at least we know we'd get a good welcome at Northwich Victoria

Ditto Wilson, who managed with his hands tied behind his back last season and first season had us playing great football. If he had had the chance to bring in 11 players he would walk us out of this league.

Like two years ago? Danny has a history of not getting teams over the line
