Too late? Well if that’s the case, we might as well not bother signing anyone else and save a few quid.
Yeah no you’re right. Giving the other teams a head start is actually the best method for having a good season.

Wonder why every fucking team doesn’t do it this way?! It’s fool proof.

Ever post you make, is a swipe or negative about us. What an owner 😍😍😍. Blah blah blah you’re boring . 😴
Because our owner is a pathetic waste of skin cells.

So I’ll do what I want to get that across.

Cry about it.

I hope he does fuck off but not for the reason you are on about . This club does not deserve a loyal united fan banging his head against a bloody wall trying his best to run the bloody thing while having to put up with this arsehole con man who owns it .
The signings we have made this season are decent. This is the same manager who did a brilliant job by uniting us. His last few years all he does is moan. The multi millionaire Chris Wilder who without SUFC would not be where he is. I love ambition but let’s face facts. If I was a new lad in a team and my boss was already publicly doing this I would be thinking what a joke. Let’s see what this week / month brings. I will be at Preston next Friday along with thousands of others. I hope he gets them fired up. He knew the script. Fucking get on with it and do your well paid job!

As pissed off as he looks, it got me thinking back to the times when he created a siege mentality in the group, and made us very tough opponents. We don't have the squad for that yet, and it's different when it's our own owner who is causing all the problems, but we will see what happens.

I have to say though that I have given the Prince plenty of slack in the past, as I accept he has limited means and I do think has tried his best. However he takes his share of any success as well as any failure and at this moment we are something of a shambles.

3 out of the last 5 seasons in the richest league in the world and we seemingly don't have a pot to piss in. We knew last Christmas, with near certainty what level we would be operating at this season, yet haven't had the guile or capacity to develop a competent transfer strategy. Players shifted out en mass with brutal efficiency, and although some of our replacements are excellent, 5 players in 4 weeks is piss poor with the season just 1 week away.

Next week is absolutely huge for this club. As tasty as the young lads have looked, they are going to be up against seasoned Championship heads from game 1, and need similar alongside them in the squad. Whatever is blocking the pipes in the short term needs shifting and we can't just wait for the takeover fairies to sort their shit out.

Well if he did a brilliant job as you say stop slagging him off and think why someone who is capable of doing a brilliant job feels how he does . And by the way the interview he gave was brill he never slagged anyone off and it was very tactful and did not come out with anything any player would be upset about so why are you saying he said things publicly that players would be upset about ? So what are you referring to that you say would upset the squad ?

What is absolutely crucial now is that neither Anel or Souza are sold. We are down to the bare bones and we just don't seem capable of getting enough players through the door. So to sell existing ones would be foolishness of the highest order.

If Moore is fit for next Friday we can still put a decent first 11 out even with Davies in goal and no right back. If we lose either of the above 2 players we are in deep shit. The first 2 games are winnable and 6pts would change all our moods. Lose them and its going to get really toxic.

The owner is going nowhere short term so we are going to have to put up with him. We have to hope that we can pull a few loans out of the hat and that eventually Cooper, Worrall, a right back and a forward come through the door.

He seemed absolutely dejected or maybe he was just antsy from the start because he knew Adam would ask about Osula and Jimmy the Hoever.

Not a good sign going into first game if that negativity rubs off on the players. Kinda feel for him but surely he knew what he was getting into. If we don't win one or more of our first 2 games the Norwich already feels high pressure.

The atmosphere will be on tenterhooks after last season and won't take long to turn toxic if we don't get off to a good start.

FS. He really did struggle with that interview.

Seemed as frustrated as many of us are.
Skirted around answering some pertinent questions. I don’t know what happened re Hoever and he wouldn’t digress. Didn’t seem that confident on getting in the numbers we need (no surprise there as many of us been saying the same)

A really downbeat interview and that will rub off on the players

Would be nice but I don't think it's realistic in all honesty.
We won't be far off.
Cooper has been lined up a while, we've just been waiting on the money, when Osula goes we'll have it.
Gilchrist sounds nailed on.
It's the striker I'm worried about, because we'll be waiting on his parent club to make the decision it's it's a loan.

Doesn’t he struggle with every interview? it’s never been his strong point….
The takeover is nearly complete but I do think he has ‘blades fan’ frustration levels when he should be more professional….
Not the man to run with it for me….

I’d even go as far as saying it will be high pressure for the QPR game, if we don’t win at Preston (or are unlucky not to win and draw).

If we are losing or it’s 0-0 on 70 minutes against QPR it’ll be very tense.

who is this loyal united fan you speak of?

Not the chap who saw a relegation coming on his CV and bailed out mid season after publicly calling out his players and owner before trousering millions for ‘his club’ and doing a back door boogie

Don’t be fooled, he’s as in it for himself as any other manager

Wilder came back with his eyes wide open. We all knew if was going to be a shit show, now throw in the takeover and it’s obvious we have two owners and no owners at the same time.

He’s needs to stop being a mardy arse and work with what he’s got until it changes. He’s got talent in this team, bulked out with kids, it shouldn’t be an impossible task to make us competitive.

If the window closes and we’re the same or weaker, fair play, rant away, but we’re not dead and buried just yet.

He did right bailing out having the shit to contend with what comes with this owner . and now it's repeating it's self all over again . It's not me that's being fooled mate ,it's the guy's who after all this time still support the prince while the club is being run into the ground .We could have Mr Klop as manager and he would not get a tune out of this club the way it is being run.

The overall silence from the club since relegation has been awful. No updates on signings, one crappy pre-season video. We've seemingly not replaced the recruitment team from last season, nor Keith Andrews and there's no news on that.

We're about to play our first pre-season game with only one new face so far and desperately short of players, so we'll end up with academy kids making up the numbers like last season (and idiot fans over-hyping them). It's almost like they've learned nothing from that s**t show.

This club is not doing itself any favours with repairing the damage caused to it's relationship with the fans last season, and the silence is starting to become insulting now.
On the plus side we’ve signed a 10 year deal on the gourmet hot dogs 🌭

I think he’s just pissed off about Osula leaving when he was firmly in his plans. This is despite it being the correct decision.

He needs to continue to bite his lip, embrace the reality of the situation and save us from relegation. Hopefully a takeover happens asap. Fans need to accept that we are in a similar position to when we won league one and started our next campaign potless. Anything above not going down is a bonus. Siege mentality.

At least we started that season on zero points not -2

He bailed when we were in the prem and he’d spunked big money on Brewster etc having finished 9th. The shit show that year was of CWs making

This shit show isn’t, this is boardroom, but don’t let the truth get in the way of a good moan

hope your right about cooper and gilchrist we need both of tbem through the door

A lot of guesswork going on here! has the takeover failed ! No money to bring in loans or free transfers!?.
Wilder looked hassled not had time for a shit shave or haircut it seemed like.
It's obvious things haven't gone to plan this week as no recruits , if we have lost Hoover to a late intervention by Stoke that's OK as he wasn't buying into us if that's true.
Bedwetters taking over this site which is a shame!
Are things that bad? We know where the weaknesses are and have time to bring players in.
Bedwetters have a shower and change your pants !!!

I don't think he looked pissed off at all, obviously there's work to do on the squad and it's not exactly where it needs to be at this stage, he was honest about it and that's as much as he gave away, nothing more nothing less.

Making out he's seething underneath and that he was biting his tongue etc etc is just made up negative bollox. You lot will jump on to anything you can to have a pop, but Wilder knows where we are and he's doing a good job of building a team in difficult circumstances.
