Seems backwards. Would rather play Leeds/Burnley away first or similar where if full strength the expectation would be a point maybe. Rather lose that and miss out on one point rather than slip up against someone we'd expect to get three from.

We absolutely will not play on the Friday night (I think that’s just the Prem anyway) but we start on -2 and EPL will want Saturdays’ papers to show that, so all the world can see we’ve been punished, they don’t want us winning on Friday night and spoiling the table.

The pig at work reckons we are playing each other on the first game of the season, because the fixture list always puts relegated teams against teams that finished low down first. I did point out to him that the entire division finished below us, but you know what pig logic is like…….
