I have just tuned in at half time. We are now 14 minutes into the second half against 10 men psg and he hasn't touched the ball. Running about with great intensity but never on the ball

Well, can't speak for the rest of his performance in this match but it appears, it wasn't just missing the 1 on 1. Seems like it is widely the view of the fans regarding the season he has had.

Wrong club, wrong time. Feel for him. Don’t begrudge him, but he needs to get the fuck outta there.
 
If he did bad in Marseille he would had been in Prem aswell like our whole team has been.. He also didn't want to be here so his attitude could had gone full Anel..

Interesting to see which is going to be better next season, Ndiaye in Marseille or Souza in Championship?

Reminds me of the first return Billy Sharp deal for us when we were relegated. Everyone wanted it to work but it just didn’t, he tried too hard and didn’t play his natural game.

I think he was happy to stay here until given the ultimatum by Marseille and apparently Drogba!?

They played on his heartstrings to follow his childhood dream and become a Marseille star.
It's turned out to be mostly a disaster.

I can see them cashing in on him this summer and I wouldn't at all be surprised to see Prem clubs sniffing. They might even get a cut price deal.

Don't see a scenario where we get him back now we are dropping into the champ. Loan? Just can't see them wanting to do that or iliman wanting to drop back to champ.

Can't say I've kept up with his career after United. I mean he was easily one of the best players I've seen in the shirt but ultimately once they leave I sort of forget about them but very nice to see he's not losing his touch (almost literally)

I've read on here the Marseille fans aren't too happy with him and he hasn't quite been doing as well as expected which is a shame to hear but judging by the odd clip he'll settle eventually. Selfishly I'd quite like to see him back in English footy though, ideally back in a united shirt but there's more chance of me starting against Everton than him coming back so I imagine at a Prem team.

They got absolutely twatted, at least some of the fans have turned, and he won't be anywhere near Europe next season. Hopefully he is devastated.
 
I've watched virtually every Marseille match since he left, mainly because after TC he was the best in a Blades shirt for 50 years. No he hasn't set the world on fire there, but he's been far from rubbish. Some games he's been outstanding.

Marseille fans venting on twitter has to be ignored- they're volatile and hurt.

I think he should have stayed 1 year in Prem with us, although I still think we would have been relegated- the showcase for him would have been brilliant- what Ili gave us was not just fantastic flair, he was also our best defender, I cannot think of any player in the world and I mean any player that presses from the front like him - outstanding .
