not if your wage bill is 19 million
contracts mean they cant , like we couldnt get rid of 3/4 year contract players and their wages , it took us 3 seasons to get just above half to 14,5 m from the 26 million wages we paid in our year in the "sun"
our parachute payments came no where near paying off our enhanced wage bills it is more realistic now
Wolves are not in the mess we are.
Their relegation season (to May 2012) they had £38m wages and had a turnover of £61m and made a net profit of £2m plus.
They will have significantly reduced wages and benefited from their first slice of parachute payments this season just finished. They will have made a loss but they are nowhere near the poor shape we are in.
Given they can have a wage bill up to about 4 times and more of most clubs (only Bristol City can compete but not much as they don't have parachute payments) I can't see how they will fail
