Love the penalty area markings. Makes you realise how long ago it is that we were the best team in the land!

Can anyone work out who the players are celebrating?

1902 FA cup final replay.
Barnes is the one at the back of the net. Must be a tap in

I had the pleasure of playing cricket with both of Norman Yardley’s twin sons over the years.
Both great lads, but nowhere near as talented as their Dad - which we had great enjoyment in mentioning to them at the time. And still do!😉

Jack Cross on left, Colin Grainger on right? v Huddersfield?
Spot on SB, looks a bit slippy, ending in a 2-2 draw, Hawksworth (p) and Grainger.
Both teams midtable, Huddersfield a place above Blades both on 41pts. after this game. The bible shows.
When Grainger came in, he played on the Left wing, replacing Derek Hawksworth, who moved to inside forward or centre forward, being quite a success goal scoring as he had been when he played left wing.
