The big question is what happens to the money. If some of it brings in some youthful and promising players it may stabilise the club. Even if we are relegated. If the money is kept to cover the clubs debts etc I can see some of the logic in that considering how close we came to administration. I do have a sneaky feeling that the money will find its way to the prince's pocket.

I loved watching Sander for us but think in the long run it’s a good deal for us money wise.

Hardly had a kick tonight. Think he might get dragged at HT. surprised he chucked him in from the start.

Jan Åge Fjørtoft was just on TV and said he'd asked Berge (off camera) why he left Sheffield United for Burnley. Fjørtoft didn't quote him, but said something like "Sheffield United were a bit disorganised and with one year left of a players' contract you want to cash in - they had already cashed in on Ndiaye to Marseille."
That's as maybe, but anyone believing his refusal to entertain a new contract wasn't a huge factor here is deluded.

Not wanting to stay = wanting to go.

If recouping some value before a player leaves for free is 'cashing in' then we all need to give ourselves a wobble.

Oh and I don’t doubt Jan Aage’s comments, but he will say anything on Twitter for attention.

I had to look up then - sure the commentator said "Sander Berge wins the header".

Appreciate the circumstances but he’s looked completely lost so far. I’ll be surprised if he’s not hooked after an hour or so.

Slow, ponderous, trotting around. Just like when he played for us in deep positions. Should be further up the pitch where he can drive forward with the ball.

Oh come on. New squad, thrown in against Man City. There's asking a player to hit the ground running and then there's asking for something spectacular. If he could perform how we know he can in this situation he wouldn't be wearing a Burnley shirt.

If he has said that he is indeed a thundercunt. We weren't really left with much option regarding Ndiaye were we? And we sure as hell didn't orchestrate the sale.

Agree, the fact that he is at Burnley indicates a lack of interest for him from other Premiership clubs.
