Think we could've all predicted that statement, got the usual buzzwords, all load of waffle.

If they did their jobs properly he would've been out of the door ages ago to give us time to replace him alongside N’diaye. Don't feel terrible about Berge leaving, he's replaceable. I think the fan's anger stems from a series of poor decisions leading up to this, and it's completely justified.

He probably thought we’d be fine just letting him walk for free so he could sign for whomever next year.

Probably my not thrilled to have his options limited again.

Was always over rated by the fanbase IMO and i was critical about him last season as some will know, so i won't miss him.

Without sounding bitter I can hand on heart say he's never had a game where he's been unplayable, he's a good footballer, never in doubt and he might perform better with better players than what we have, but it didn't take 5 minutes for Doyle and Macatee to put him in the shade last season..

Good luck, glad the saga about him leaving the minute he was signed is finally over... Wish him well.
