My thoughts exactly earlier. Norway coach said he needs an established Premier league team to get regular game time in the national side. A move to Burnley with a few years contract when he can leave for free next season is a baffling decision from him. My only guess is that it's a good wage packet and he sees Burnley doing better than us next season. Given he's playing pre-season games with ozzy running around like a gazelle on the M18 obviously hasn't given him much confidence in us, can't blame him!Berge is a class act & can do better than Burnley. His national managers comments haven't obviously helped our case, but, neither would this move? Does look very unambitious, losing 2 quality assets...![]()

What are the odds on Hecky walking out?
I can't see Hecky walking, he's got longer left on his contract than our first XI added togetherWhat are the odds on Hecky walking out?
Don't think he's the type to walk out. He will look to rectify it. We all know that Berge is going to go next year for nothing if we let him (same would have been for IN)What are the odds on Hecky walking out?
I agree, selling him isn't the problem it's the lack of replacements that is.The one reason I can see this being a good thing is if we were planning on playing him in CDM/deep lying midfield for the season. He's not a CDM and has proved that on numerous occasions. If we're playing him there then £12m is better.
and the odds for a euro spot?150/1 to finish on 10 points or less btw
When it goes tits up the poor manager will get the blame . Even though he has worked miracles to get promoted working with one arm tied behind his back having to put up with all the shit from upstairs he has done a remarkable job . Unfortunately most of the flack will come from the fans and our owner and the board will get away with it again .Popped on for 5 minutes after a busy morning at work, wish I hadn't! Got to feel for Hecky and his team, even if 4, 5 or 6 signings arrive before the end of September it'll take them weeks to get up to speed. Starting well and not getting left behind will be key to us having any chance you'd think, and as much as I'd love to see us roll Palace and pick up the odd win or three before the end of September I really can't.

Slimane?Well, there's good news and bad news.
The good news is the club already have a replacement lined up for Berge.
The bad news is that player is already at the club.
I think it's way past the point of sand in the fanny mate.Don't think he's the type to walk out. He will look to rectify it. We all know that Berge is going to go next year for nothing if we let him (same would have been for IN)
We'll recvover from this I'm sure so not worth us getting sand in the fanny at this point in time![]()
Honesty, I can admit Burnley were good in the Championship. But the praise Kompany & co are getting is a bit much. They are in that collection of 6-to-7 teams fighting relegation, hardly an inspiring move, is it? If Berge needs an "established prem team" I'd say go to Brentford or Palace. He'd even suit Newcastle, what with their additional fixtures and need for squad-depth. I like Ozzy, he works hard but our business has been a bit slow. We all knew midfield needed reinforcement. My thoughts exactly earlier. Norway coach said he needs an established Premier league team to get regular game time in the national side. Yes, but he could walk into a top job now, and no-one would blame him.I can't see Hecky walking, he's got longer left on his contract than our first XI added together![]()
