Couldn’t tell what happened when he went off injured today. Looks nasty but presumably won’t keep him out for too long.
I think its at Man Citys training complex as Girona are part of the City Group. Presumably we are doing City a favour by giving one of their teams a game and in return we expect Mcatee on loan and Doyle at a knock down price.Ah yes its behind closed doors as well.

A few stitches on the forehead shouldn't sideline a player.A preseason game yes but with no concussion, these older plsyers need to keep their spot.Where was JOC when he was needed he didn't lose those.View attachment 166101

We then announce the shock signing of an unheard of player called Snrub. Cracking young lad with a big bushy moustache.Yes or we are hatching a master plan to kidnap him while we are there.
Fleck’s poor injury record was the main reason I was against his re-signing. Hopefully it’s not serious.
And the time it takes him to get back up to fitness after injury.Fleck’s poor injury record was the main reason I was against his re-signing. Hopefully it’s not serious.
With Norwood and Fleck's injuries makes us having 8 missing (including visa Traore though)
The season doesnt start until 16 days time so it wont be as many as 13 players down!We start the season in the hardest league a net 13 players down as things stand.
Admittedly a net 11 if Traore gets clearance.
Fair point. Things could well get worse. The season doesnt start until 16 days time so it wont be as many as 13 players down!
While it's not ideal we're also not 13 players down on last season. The reality is:We have more players injured than we have signed or are likely to sign - the squad is shrinking in both size & quality.
Injured
RND Brewster Bogle McBurnie Coulibaly Fleck (7).
Departed
Stevens Billy JoC Doyle McAtee Clark Khadra (7)
Visa delay
Traore (1)
That’s a total of 15.
New signings
Slimane Larouci (2)

Is there any feckin wonder that concerns are emerging about our lack of recruitment and our lack of goals scored in preseason ?
I appreciate that money may be tight but FFS the currently available squad would not be successful in the Championship never mind the PL.
Fail to pick up any points in August and we may never recover - we keep being told that loans will arrive towards deadline day but surely we need players in before the season starts ?
I understand and empathise with your comments, but of the 15 only 3 had any significant impact on our promotion, so I don’t see that we are now that far off last year’s squad. We have more players injured than we have signed or are likely to sign - the squad is shrinking in both size & quality.

Think you might want to re-count that injured list?We have more players injured than we have signed or are likely to sign - the squad is shrinking in both size & quality.

Clearly we need to add, but you have ignored any of the young players who are likely to enhance the 25.
Two loans of quality and a possible final purchase would make a decent squad and I would hope that RND, Bogle and Brewster will play some part in this season.
The hope is that the three are better than we had ( particularly at LCB) and the three already in are better than we at first thought. Add in my optimism that there is at least one youngster who will come good and away we go !Two loans and a purchase , making 3 for the starting eleven , would bring us back to where we were last season , but we are now in a higher league.
Nevertheless , I am grateful to Silent & yourself for keeping my hopes alive & defying the bookies![]()

Having read about the financial mess that Wolves are in I am even more optimistic.
Should we go down then the next two windows should produce a really good squad and better financial stability.
