Looking like being surplus to requirements at the end of the season after burning his bridges with Wolves and not impressing at Everton. Seen a few twitter accounts mooting a return to us could be on the cards?
There's not many premier league experienced, internationally capped, former club captains knocking about that would be within our price range.
I think if the initial fee was realistic (£2m or under) and he didn't want daft wages we'd be mad not to go for him. Even if we went down he'd easily be one of the best 3 defenders in the championship the season after.
Wolves have just been prepared to loan him out for the season so I can't imagine the fee would be more than £3/4m. He's reportedly on £55k a week, which again he isn't going to get in his next contract.
He's a natural leader with tons of Prem experience, who went to the world cup with england 6 months ago....If he's available for under £4m and 40kish a week then I personally think we should be all over it.
know there are other areas that need looking at before centre back but we definetly need another centre back to come in and for me its a no brainer if the financial side of things at the club allows itAs what though? Back up / competition to Anel, Egan?

Let's get Flint from the wendies .... Coady would be a great signingYou can say what you want about his experience etc BUT if we are signing a centre back I want a 6ft 4in monster who clears everything out. Forwards in tje premier league are getting bigger, stronger and faster and Cody isn't big, isn't that strong and isn't that quick.
Too slow mate. Prem forwards would have him on toast. Need someone with pace.Let's get Flint from the wendies .... Coady would be a great signing
AyeConor Coady considering where we are shopping as lets face it once we've paid our debts we're shopping more at aldi than even morrisons,
if we can get Coady for a free or even a few million. he would be a great signing he's 30. where else are you going to get solid center back, with 5 years experience in PL, 173 premier league appearances, Former England International for that cheap
He's right footed though isn't he?LCB......?
Can't afford to be signing one like Coady just to do the good old 'compete'He's right footed though isn't he?
Compete with Egan?
