Thank god the 'dont get too excited ' police are here to dampen any enthusiasm

Any other forum would be like an explosion of relief and celebration with hope and optimism over riding caution and fear and people quite rightly getting carried away on a wave of joy and pride

Obviously not on here where misery , and wormy observations and negativity are the key components of supporting your team

The only way your take on this makes sense is if you are, in fact, Daniel Jebbison.

it is completely reasonable to say he’s not yet ready to play in the premier league. In fact, I’d say to not give him a championship loan next season would be negligence on the club’s part because he IS promising.

Crikey

How on earth do you know what he will be ready for next season ?
Hes 19 he has already played premier league football ( at 16) and didnt look out of place

His development this season has seen him look twice the player he was at the start of it
And if he goes away in pre season and works hard on his fitness he could have such a good pre season he is a shout for starting the season and being involved like brooks did under wilder

He might not ,he might look a bit short of whats required and get sent on loan but already ruling him out as you have is the methodology of an idiot and thank god youre not making decisions on any young lads careers

Do we see Jebbo as a sub for McBurnie or can we have these in the same system?

I have no idea how you can say ‘he will set the prem alight’. What’s happening?

The kid will be a decent enough player I’m sure, but clearly he needs to experience regular championship football before he gets a chance at premier league. I really don’t see this is a controversial opinion.

See: Mcatee and Doyle as 2 very close and recent examples!
The bloke got a winner v Everton on his debut.

I think Jebbos athleticism gives him good versatility in terms of who he can partner he’s much more than just a big man type striker.

Only issue of a Jebbo Mcburnie partnership is you lose the creativity of Ndiaye and so midfield would have to compensate for that.

Ever heard of a straw man?

If you think him sitting on the bench next year instead of a year of regular championship football is better for him then ‘thank god you’re not making decisions on any young lads career’.

You’ve either accidentally or deliberately missed the point to fabricate your own weird obsession with this. If you think 3 months from now he’s ready to feature regularly in the prem then…. Ok mate.

Hes already played in the prem
He is 3 years further down the line and at his age development happens fast

If you can show me where i said a year sitting on the bench is better than regular chsmpionship footnall then fair do's but you cant because i didnt say that as i dont know

I do think he is good enough to be used as a squad player and if he isnt then loan him out

But as an academy product he doesnt need to be given a squad number and is as good an option if not better than all but ndiaye in those forward positions but yeah lets just loan him out and start billy sharp or mcburnie every week because im sure they will never get injured

Ok you’ve clearly lost any point you were trying to make. Never mind.

Young player in inconsistent performance shocker!
In other news, injured older player looks like he may have lost a yard of pace and under performing manager could lose his job.

Jebbison is going to rip it up next season is my prediction. Brewster though with his pants around his arse didn't look in shape when he waddled on the pitch for the celebrations.

Guy’s scored 2 goals for us ever and now people want him starting up against the best teams in the world! Come on guys.

Screams of a season loan to the championship next season, surely.

Illi was turned down by several clubs including Chelsea and Southampton, lets sell him for 1million in case he never makes it in the big time.

Haaland and Vardy all started somewhere.

Players develop if coached correctly.

We could always spunk loads on a Jordan Rhodes Mk2, it's not our money.

for gods sake dont play him till he has signed a new contract
or he will of to Everton for F/all

Great cameo. Had enough time to influence the game and playing in a team that’s really hit its stride.

Still learning his trade and needs games. A 6 month Championship loan would probably be the answer but I get the feeling we’ll need him to pad out the squad next season.

Keep him here,19 years old and will hopefully learn so much in the premiership to carry on his trade. A good coaching staff in charge are developing him,he frightened Preston to death yesterday and his decision making is improving. Lots to learn with the right club (us).

He's choose to represent England after living here only 5/6 years, which tells me he has huge belief in himself and his abilities to make it to the top.

Doesn't have to decide until full call ups happen. As a young player it makes sense to stick with English sides. His mother is English anyway so maybe he will stick with England regardless but Canada in the world cup it he's banging a few in might come calling.

U20 world cup is being shown on Eurosport I believe

Keep fit and well young man.

You've an important job to come back to.

Good luck

Love that he’s rocking a Blades bag while on international duty… good lad.
if the worst happens and we end up back in the championship i can see jebbison and osula becoming the next deane and agana

Is he out of contract next summer? Can we get him on a new deal otherwise we could be at risk of getting ourselves in the same situation again.

Yes and no, we’ll wait until next year and take 2 months to put a new deal to him.

Snail’s pace United.

Hi Rodley,If you've not watched the latest Blades Ramble interview with Darren Smith it might be of interest.Talks about Jebbo and many other's contracts and most importantly the club's overall strategy.
Might put your mind at rest🙏👍Cheers.
