Go and get Josh Sargent signed and play him with McBurnie in the Premiership.

I have no idea how you can say ‘he will set the prem alight’. What’s happening?

The kid will be a decent enough player I’m sure, but clearly he needs to experience regular championship football before he gets a chance at premier league. I really don’t see this is a controversial opinion.

We got Jebbo for nowt.
We paid £23m for Brewster who , in 3 seasons , even when fit , has never looked half the player that Jebbo was today.

I think claiming we don't need to spend on strikers is a bit much. We've got Ndiaye depending. Sharp. McBurnie. Brewster (I can't help but laugh when his name is mentioned I'm afraid) then Jebbo and Osula.

Jebbo has been hit and miss but today showed some real potential. The power and pace he showed to create that third goal was really impressive. Is he PL ready? I wouldn't say so. But he's definitely got something in his locker that just needs coaching out of him.

Very high marks for his display today. 8.5/10. I hope he pushes on I really do.

I think what we are starting to see in Jebbo is a player who has been watching and training alongside Iliman Ndiaye and McAtee... I genuinely feel that he has seen the confidence in these sorts of player and thinks 'I can do that'.

He's also blatently been at it with the strengthening and conditioning coaches. At the beginning of the season, the slightest contact would be like hitting a brick wall for the lad....Where as now, he's riding challenges and wriggling them off.

He's still raw, he's not there..... but his development curve is very promising.

We need six striker options in the PL to manage properly. Each one of them has to be the finished article and be capable of 20 goals at the top level

Jebbo was very good when he came on yesterday.

But let's not get carried away here... it was a fantastic substitution by Hecky who put him on as a poor Preston side subbed off defensive players for attackers and changed shape as they chased the game....there was acres and acres of space to be exploited which we and Jebbo in particular did very well.

New contract and a Championship loan next season is the way forward IMO
