This is abject. If the thinking with Fleck is that he needs minutes it's a managerial mistake. This game is more important in the context of the season. Plus Fleck will get as much into his legs by jogging about at Shirecliffe as he will jogging about at BDTBL. He's touched it 5 times in that first half, the best one being booting it straight up in the air in injury time.

Midfield seem to be coasting. No drive, no press, no speed in passing through their press. Just that slow, ponderous bobbar midfield of semi-old. Tactical issue or just playing shite? Or both

Nit sure why Fleck is getting scapegoated. Not been any worse than anyone else. Let's discuss Doyle ridiculous freekick to Anel where we lost the ball.

It's just really poor at the the moment. Davies is the only one with any credit. Our heading is terrible. We just head it anywhere. We look asleep all over the pitch. Can't string any passes together or find any space.

Without doubt the worst 45 minutes of football I’ve witnessed for a life time from any team.

If we do go up then we could break Derbys record and as for Saturday it could be utterly embarrassing
It wasn’t good but “worst in a lifetime”? I think we’ve all seen much much worse.

I hate it when we play McBurnie from the start. You just know we’re going to get hoofball. Can't think of one passing move through midfield in that 45 minutes of dross. Only players coming out of that with any credit were Illy and Doyle

Let's break it down the strikers and midfield:

Doyle - looks up sees midfield standing still and marked can only boot it long as a release.

Mcburnie and Ndiaye - Feeding off scraps because of the above.

Berge - Jogging but at least has had a couple of good driving runs when got the ball.

Fleck - Nowt, nothing, nil, zippo. Epitomized when got the ball, passed it straight to Bristol and then just got dribbled past like he wasn't even there.

Illy and Doyle have been poor so far ( along with the rest of them)
Get an extra striker on and play Illy behind them. We might be able to link play then
